I absolutely love this song. It was on the soundtrack of some of the happiest times of my life. As a life long Clash fan I have followed Joe and Mick over the years and everything they've done (Earthquake Weather, B.A.D., Straight to Hell, Havana 3AM, etc.) It's a shame that they never got another chance to collaborate again, but I think that the circle would have come complete at some point and they would have put out some amazing music. You are gone Joe but not forgotten.

Mick Jones said (and I can’t remember all the details) that right before Strummer died he asked Mick to help on some songs that would be the next Clash album. So they definitely would have done something together. I really enjoyed Mick and Paul with the Gorrilaz on Plastic Beach. One of my favorite albums and they were great performing it live.

This instrumental is my favorite track by this artist, appearing on the soundtrack of a film about someone who led a secret life, and came home to revisit old haunts and acquaintances. On a playlist of the last music I will listen to, this will be on it.

Aleta Welch When I started my channel, it was with the hope of resurrecting good songs out of obscurity for folks like you. So, you are very welcome, and please sample some of the other songs, some of them took a few listens to grow on me, so that might happen for you too. In particular, Euroshima by T.R.A.C. (Mick Jones little known band in between Clash and BAD.

ReggaeJazz Oh, also, 'T.R.A.C.' is Top Risk Action Company, and the songs are demos for an album that never materialized. I can't help but imagine what the final polished version would have been like, but there's something to like in the more raw sound too.
