My class 100% wrote to prisoners. It was called our humanities assignment. I grew up in an area where it was common to spend time in jail. Everyone I know beyond myself from my hometown has been in jail or prison. The point of writing the prisoners was to show us it's not just scary people that end up there. We are all just a few bad decisions away from ending up there so it was supposed to encourage us to make good choices.

I once got approached with that speaker scam but I didn't realize it was a scam till now. The guy was trying to sell me the speakers in his truck but I saw a projector and said I wanted that.
