Joe Wilkinson is one persona who makes me tune in every time. His and Sean's parts on '8 Out Of 10 Cats does Countdown' made the show for me. Having watched back at episodes where he is making Sean laugh you can tell he meant what he said. When he is doing a bit he regularly looked to Sean’s direction to see if he is still laughing.

Except he was on the red green. It was only just but he was touching it, it's clear in the close-up. However, I do think Greg should have let him have it, just for making the excellent throw that others failed to do. Then again, as stated by T BZ, Joe not getting it after his emotional begging, is part of what makes it so iconic.

@@boskee He was wearing white trainers (not shoes) which were almost flat and it wasn't the 'curly' part that touched, it was slightly to the right of that. However, I fully respect your right to be wrong and blind. The close-up footage clearly shows it touching.

I think one of the greatest things you can say about Joe is, if every comedian could only make one person laugh and it was Sean Lock, Joe ALWAYS laughed when Joe was on. He put him in absolute hysterics at times
