Power Read is a variation off the Power Play that is key piece of The Pistol Power Offense System. You read the Defensive End instead of kicking him out. The Running Back or Slot (with Jet motion) runs an outside stretch path. The QB reads the Defensive End and runs the Power path if he gets a keep read.
