Haha, I have exactly the same specs and color Panda! Mine is 2005. After 6 years of ownership here are my insights: - it's fun to drive, feels very "raw" - personally I like it, - it's fast enough for modern traffic, unless you drive on the highway with passengers - then it's pain, - quite reliable and easy to maintain, - easy to squeeze into tight parking spot, - lack of AC is pain in summer, - small trunk, Some mods I made: - front doors, hood and trunk sound deadening - Alpine stereo + Hertz speakers - replaced that awful gearstick cover with nicer one - added 12V socket and voltmeter

AC was offered, but few people bought it. Hell, there was even a version with automatic AC

I drive one too, mine does have AC and even things like parking assist. After driving it for a while my verdict is that it’s not speed or acceleration that are problems with this car because really it is quite usable for city driving, it accelerates just as fast as you’d need it to in the city. The worst thing about this car is exactly that raw feeling you’re describing. Eastern European roads are horrible and filled with potholes, I almost have to brace for impact whenever there’s a huge pothole that I can’t avoid, because even if I slow down to first gear, you’re still feeling it with the Panda, it’s like i’m on a sleigh instead of in a car. But other than that I love the little Panda, it works well, it’s extremely maneuverable and it’s very fuel efficient.

Is this an old converted police car? The buttons to open the windows are missing, they are opened with the crank instead, I have seen that some FIAT Pandas for the Police have that feature

Is the clutch slipping a bit on this exact one? I have a feeling when you were accelerating a few times it's slipped before catching on... I might be wrong... Great cars nevertheless.. I always found them charming..

I have this car in almost the same specification and I love it. Crazy reliable, you can reach anything anywhere in the car from the driver's seat, speed is fine if you're not on the highway... But person, who bought my car new, made some interesting decisions. 1. There is a tow bar on my car. 40 kw, 950 kg, great for towing stuff, right? 2. Beige metallic paint. So if you have cracked bumper, good luck finding painted second hand one. 3. City mode for power steering (placed on that blank switch above fog lights). Like it wasn't light enough as it is. Literally the most useless thing ever fitted to a car. Why would anybody pay for all of this and then not fit the car with stereo/speakers, AC or central locking? 🤣

the 1.2 takes 14sec which is not bad for a city car that can do a lot more than city driving. mine is the family car and never missed a beat in 14 years and 160000km with oil, filters, pads and tires only
