@@TheRealSparxx What proof do y'all have that his contract was bad 🤔?? And don't say because he was signed to Birdman either. It was bidding war for Drake by different labels back in 09 and he'd only signed to Young Money if his contract was good
@corduroycrook4 жыл бұрын
Trey Scott well we infer this because all but one of his peers on that label have complained about being in bad contracts. But even if we assume he didnt sign a bad deal with YM he also signed with jay prince and with columbia again with his ovo imprint. Then theres confusing situations like the apple music deal.The question is how did he get so much backing from the multiple entities without signing away damn near everything? And if he did sign bad deals how has he survived at the top of the game for this long and still be able to turn those pennies on the dollar into millions? Theres an important piece of the puzzle missing.

Hardest thing as an artist is making something so complicated seem so simple, Drake's music connects with everyone because he raps about things we all deal with on a daily basis, not just street, lavish life, or struggle type of music that most musicians stick to. 15:22 to 16:05 Here goes Joe moving the goalpost again, the conversation was about women who sleep with celebs to get money from via having a child with them. When Rory or Mal (10:46) try to point out how wrong it is to use a child to get money or how toxic of a situation it can become, Joe tries to pivot the conversation to it's not wrong for women to want men with money. The whole start of the convo was about first baby mom's and the financial drama that ensues. They weren't arguing whether or not its wrong for women to want stability, the argument was about the means by which they get, vis a vis, getting impregnated by a celebrity. Hearing Joe move the goalpost time and time again whenever it looks like he's going to be the wrong person in the room makes it hard to enjoy the discussion. It's okay for Rory and Mal to make a good point

So here is the point Mal was tryna say: Women have a say in whether or not they want to have a child, because “Her body her choice”. That being said, then women want to come and blame a guy for not wanting to raise a kid he didn’t even want. So she has a a say and she wants the other party to follow her say. Meanwhile a man has no right to disagree? This is where double standards come in. As men we respect a woman’s choice but our choice isn’t respected if we don’t want to have a kid. So therefore, men who don’t want kids, shouldn’t be held accountable by the courts. You can’t have your cake and eat it. If a woman wants to keep the kid and the man doesn’t, then have the man legally sign off and forever be free from taking care of that kid or seeing that kid as well. If you as a man don’t want the kid, don’t come around years later and start your bullshit. This is what real equality should be like. Your body your choice, not mine, not my responsibility.

Gem Gem Men do have that option but 90% of the time we want no condom.

Y'all forget there's never been a rapper that women love more than Drake. That's why he's powerful, sales hits and money are determined by women. He's easily the "hottest" rapper ever he's basically having a 50 or Wayne level run for double the amount of years that they have had.

Mohammed Hussain men are embarrassed to fan over their favorite artists, women will throw bras/panties. Throw half their check and ride for their artist like it’s their man. Like it ain’t too taboo when a girl goes off for five minutes with fandom, but if a guy does it? Women really make the celebrity
