Learn to be alone. Then once that’s mastered, dating will be easier to deal with. Desperation won’t come about because you’re able to be by yourself.

That's why easier said than done if you're somebody that has to really move around out here. You meet to many people to pass on them all. You'll end up testing the water damn near without even trying.

Action Potential15 I can understand where you are coming from. But the constant factor is that people don’t heal themselves before intermingling with others. Once you have a grasp on who you are and what you contribute both good and bad there is nothing but a beautiful, blissful life after . Either alone or with someone...in the words of ru Paul “if you can’t love yourself , how the hell can anyone else”

@Brooklyn Nets 2021 Champions Nah, I love women... For sex that's it. I don't see what value they bring outside of that honestly... To my life they bring nothing to the table. Most girls I've encountered are boring and expect you to do everything, no hobbies, nothing... Absolutely nothing besides just being a companion. I've dated a lot of girls and I have come to realize I'm better off single. I have nothing to lose not having a woman by my side.

I think the main problem today is everyone has too many options. Social Media really hurt the relationship game. You never know who might be looking at your Girlfriend/Boyfriend or what messages they might be secretly having when your not present. People are always searching for a better option and couples don't fight through adversity they have the mindset that they'll just swing to another person if things don't work out or they find someone that can do more for them. Love appears to be purely conditional in many cases and doesn’t last for very long. I think as a society we all started valuing the wrong things and can learn from previous generations who valued commitment and didn't break their marriage vows. I think Love is still out there to be found but people have to hit that maturity point where "they've had their fun" and are ready to be serious.

I think social media has given a false look into what a relationship should be. Guys and girls have gotten lazy with dating because of how easy it is to jump on an app and find someone to hook up with. Finding someone that values the old type of “relationship” seems impossible. Family, building trust, and marriage... that all seems foreign to the younger generations.

@SEAndies
@SEAndies 4 жыл бұрын
William disagree. Social media rather gave certain predisposed ppl a NON INTENDED platform to even more dilute, corrupt and oversimplify people’s emotional, sexual and complexities. For example what about tinder or a slimy unthoughtful DM is complex and really getting at fulfilling human connection and true lust and attraction to someone? is that complex or dimensional to u or even giving a human a good chance at that? What are the chances u meet your best man on a tinder like app? Would u want to? Slim. And if you do, the qualities and effort you would put into getting to know them to want to hang and be real w them, do most ppl utilize dating apps that way? Nope and why is that so and why is that all of a sudden a norm for romantic interests? Bc corrupt exploitation of a platform (social media)
@williamizm3745
@williamizm3745 4 жыл бұрын
I am not saying the social media is positive. Its obviously a negative thing when it comes to dating. But man the clubs still exist. You still meet cute girls in public. So if you choose to date from social media be ready to deal with the complexities that come with it.

I realized I don't actually want to be with any girls, I want to have fun with them and all but outside of that I have 0 interest, these girls are a total waste of time bruh, all they do is slow you down, I'm better off single, happy and rich. 😂 I don't have to share shit with anyone. When I was broke and unsuccessful I desperately wanted a girlfriend and was focused on the wrong things, being successful really does put things into perspective, now I just laugh at people in relationships because half of y'all are miserable af. 😂 Always complaining to me about how their boyfriend this and girlfriend that 😂😂😂. KD SWAGGER You’ll be alone for the rest of your days if that were the case, because most childhood traumas are lifelong and even with therapy, they are only reduced. Fix all of your flaws?? How?? Most of the time, dating your best friend doesn’t translate well into a relationship. It SOUNDS good though. I’ve seen too many people give their longtime best friend a chance and it never worked out AND the friendship was lost because you can’t go back to just being friends after that. Always have high standards, never settle for less, and always be honest...sounds good but you will end up alone unless you’re a very rich and very beautiful person...on the OUTSIDE.😂

"You wouldn't want to be next to somebody that long". Speak for yourself. Your partner is your "companion", not your "entertainment". Understanding that simple fact makes the above quote absolute nonsense. I'm at 20 years of togetherness, and still hoping for "till death do us part" here. You actually _DO_ want companions for life, be they friends or partners. Would you want to change your childhood friends because "you've known them too long"? How would that make sense? Why should a relationship be any different? You get past a certain age and you are _done_ with the introductions and the giddiness of new beginnings. You just don't have the patience for that stuff anymore. You just want to skip to the part where you've seen the worst in each other, survived it, and are already settling into a comfortable routine. That takes time to build. A lot of time.

Everything is so flashy and unappealing. If you do start talking to someone you have no idea of whether or not they're trying to play you. 2. The internet didnt ruin dating, people ruined dating n thats y they're on the internet. Often times ppl choose to make superficial the focus to make things official and that's where the problem sits. People are more focused on presenting their image or persona for others to date rather than themselves because they have learn to make peace with their flaws so they mask it which is the root cause of narcissistic behavior. Which is y nobody dates anymore because it feels more like a tryout or a job interview than a date, which in turn is more of a business arrangement or competition rather than getting to know someone, u dont need dinner n a movie to actually sit and converse n build on a topic nor do u need sex on the 1st date to validate desire. At some point we as people are going to have to leave are mental stuff at the door in order to open it to get into the house of dating. If not go home do some more wrk on ones self n try again when ready.

Clifford Martin The issue is not the double texting, the issue is a power struggle. So what if you double text someone, what matters it’s how they respond when they do. If they act stuck up about it or feel like they can play you, then you know that person is full of B.S. As for me, I’ll double text sometime to give someone the benefit of the doubt or just to see if they on game. If they get big headed about it, I know they’re full of sh*t and have a predatory nature about them.

Going through the comments, there's a lot of people blaming the other gender for these issues occurring, and to be honest, I think both genders are struggling when it comes to wholesome relationships, and we both need to come together and be honest and come to an understanding. It's not just about "female nature" or "male nature" but human nature. Human Nature makes it hard for people to stay faithful and in relationships, especially in this day of age. But moments like these make it better/easier for all of us to share our perspectives and learn from the other gender. No one is perfect, & no side is perfect, but it will take both sides to come together and solve this "relationship issue" we have going on as of lately. Communication, Honesty, & Accountability are the 1st couple of steps in my opinion in solving these issues we have.

Believe it or not. The truth is that it's the womans fault. They are the gatekeepers of sex and childbirth. They tend to realize the importance of this when it is too late. Its unfortunate but it's the truth. Woman have all the options while they are young as their youth fades so does their value.
@ShaqDaddyx380
@ShaqDaddyx380 4 жыл бұрын
@@closeenough1343 Trust me, I understand where you're coming from. But men also hold some blame in regards to this topic. I can tell you have done some research on RP & so have I. But that is an inconsistency, that I see in regards to putting the blame on women, especially in the RP communities. 1. Yes, women are the gatekeepers in regards to sex, however, the lack of fathers doesn't allow for women to understand their worth at times. Yes, men are kicked out of the homes with divorce, but there are a lot of men just not willing to take up the responsibility of being a father or at least a good one. Blaming women for getting pregnant by a deadbeat man isn't entirely her fault. If the man changed up last minute, which does happen, I've seen it, then she's not the 1 to blame. We should be blaming men for not owning up to their responsibilities. 2. When it comes to the topic of options, men & women are the same. Women have more options when they are younger, yes, but hypothetically put yourself in their shoes. If you had a bunch of options because you hit the lottery or got incredibly attractive out of nowhere, wouldn't you do the exact same thing?? You would have your fun or try to pick the BEST option for yourself, possible. Men actually use their options when they get older. Hence why men cheat more than women. But even if you don't have that many options, ugly men still cheat, which means they have options as well. The options may not be a lot or quality options, compared to women, but they're still options. Also cheating doesn't help the situation either. That's another reason why I feel like we are in this situation. Too much cheating. And tbh, men cheat more than women, so that's also on us. Throughout history, we've tried to explain why cheating is okay for men to do & instead of changing that horrible attribute about ourselves, we decided to rationalize it, which made the situation worse. That's why women are cheating almost as much as men. We as men, are still beating women in regards to "who cheats more", but women are catching up & fast. A lot of women are saying that if men can do it, then we will do it too. Is that immature? Yes, but I understand why it's happening. So now women are making us feel the same way we've felt for decades. Some innocent men are just getting caught in the fire that men from the past created. Similar to how white men of today are blamed for slavery & being racist, even though they may not have a single ounce of racism in them. Hatred carries forward, unless you address the issue and work on the problems, instead of rationalizing toxicity. 3. Another thing is, society pushes for women to be more promiscuous than ever before. However, society is comprised of men & women. There are men who are agreeing to this behavior & even condoning it. The men with the most power say nothing, & encourage that type of behavior. If you think about it, men are at the very top of everything in this world, when it comes to the politicians & even the people above them. There's an agenda being pushed to divide men & women, that for some reason men at the top are agreeing with. If this was such a huge issue, celebrity men & men of power wouldn't be getting married still, some of them get married 2-3 times. Marriage would be obsolete. Marriage is declining & so is fertility rates, but that's not entirely because of men walking away. RP & MGTOW communities aren't that big compared to the rest of the world, & majority of men aren't getting married or having kids because that stuff is REALLY expensive, especially in this day of age. If you want to have a family of 3 (mom, dad, kid), to get by comfortably, you need an annual household income of at least 75K - 80K. Some people would say more, depending on where you live. We already know 90% of Americans make 80K - 90K or less. So the cost of living keeps going up, while people are staying stagnant with their salaries. So the rich/wealthy are the ones getting married. There are a bunch of other issues. But the responsibility isn't just on women. We as men also hold a responsibility as well. 4. Also people lie tbh. So if a man comes off as a great guy & then months later switches up, then that's not her fault. We as men have also dealt with women changing after months of knowing them. It's human nature. Both sides have to come together & have hard & difficult discussions on why things are so bad & bring up RP theories to women so they can understand how we see them & how we feel. Women do it all the time with their social media, we should as well. I think the biggest reason why there's so many issues between men & women is because men are silenced & aren't able to express how they feel without being insulted. When people feel as though their words aren't important bad things happen, like men & women not seeing eye to eye. It's the same thing with politics, religion, & race. Politics, Race, & Gender are the biggest battles at the moment. No side wins because another side is always silenced or shamed. Until that changes, nothing will change. & both sides are needed to do that. Thank you for commenting though, I appreciate your perspective.

Even though idk you I hope you're safe out here, the world being bought it its knees with no standing up in sight.

I’ve couldn’t said it better than joe well said definitely spoke in volumes with that about how women gauge a man’s mental but use the 🐱 as a desired trait. That’s where I’m at mentally the 🐱 is desirable but the woman as a person should be the overall task in learning. And dating nowadays is a gauge at the bag u have and if she’s willing to put up with u to get to that bag. Smh I feel sorry for this generation of single ppl

Thats because for millennia thats how we valued women and women know thats their worth.. though they don't acknowledge it. A lot of women do not have personalities they dont know how to get you... we get them, and it has always been that way. Our worth has always been about what we can provide whether it be money, leadership, guidance, property, security/protection, and etc. The only thing they have to do is offer the cat and be attractive to us, and they are even better if they cook and clean, and can take care of children. The dynamic has changed, because women are no longer our property like they once were, so we see women being more liberal in who they are, so they can be sexually free, and go get jobs, and have their own things, so if she has all of that on any level what are you here for? I reckon its because she wants dick, and if she can get love and the other things thats a plus.... its rare you meet a woman who just wants someone she can love and just be with him and only him these days. in a way there are good and bad things about this.. the good pussy is valued at an all time low, but on the other hand it has my fidelity, and loyalty hard to find.

I've been with the same man for 8 years. We got together when I was 19 and he was 18. We had the mindset that as we aged, we were gonna grow and change and every time we did, we fell in love with that version of each other too. Social media has made it hard to date and hard to be in a relationship. For the first few years, my man was terrified because people had no respect for our relationship and hmu anyway trying to get at me. He finally learned I'm not going anywhere and I'll always love him and he proposed in August. My friends told me to bounce every time we argued. They told me to dip when they thought he didn't propose fast enough. I'm glad I didn't listen. I got really lucky with mine. He never even uses socials or looks at another woman. So many people I know are lonely and unable to find a meaningful connection and if they do, they have people in their ear telling them to give up on it when they vent because the mindset is that you can always find someone else and there's always someone better.

I don't understand the logic when the dude with the red hair says that it is humanly impossible to be with the same person. I don't think you are ever with the same person. The person you are dealing with will always change even within the relationship. The focus should be always trying to get to know that person as that person changes. A relationship dies once the other party feels like they already "know" the person. You don't ever truly know someone because people are always changing.

Bianca Culpo this is exactly our problem. You aren’t a man you haven’t spend one day living as a man. So how do you know what men care about? We aren’t women so clearly since we are different we have different value systems. We care about different things and express ourselves emotionally differently. That doesn’t mean we don’t care because we don’t act like you or how you think we should act (which is based on a woman’s perspective) when we care.

Everyone who is agreeing and adding their comments in here, I see people like these on every place of the internet where someone says how today's dating is busted. But nothing ever changes, and it just keeps getting more and more empty and superficial out there. So I have to wonder if all of you have these thoughts, but as soon as someone new shows up in the DM or you see someone you like, then you just snap back in line with the rules of modern dating that you don't like, and you just play the game like everyone else does, and then come back to places like this and say how much it stinks. We need to start taking the risk of losing out on some people who are all caught up in the modern system, and just go in to new situations making our own rules for it and not having any care if the other person can't keep up and they jump ship. Because the chances might not be as bad as you think that the person across from you in your next situation might just secretly dislike the modern dating rules/system just as much as you secretly dislike it.

I completely agree! People complain about people being fake and only showing their representative when dating, yet they do the exact same thing. They complain about ghosting, but they ghost people too. They say people have ADD when it comes to dating, and yet they're all over the place, unable to stay focused on one person. I feel like people shouldn't complain if they are just going to participate in the game just like everyone else.
