As long as we see him hold his ground for a few seconds. Yeah, I’m finally gonna put my thoughts here. I like how Kong’s hatred of Godzilla is explained, and why he’d follow Godzilla and attack him for seemingly no reason in part 1. The Skullcrawlers are finally seen, and Ghidorah is probably somewhere around the corner. I’m ready for Part 6! Probably ending with Ghidorah’s return, and Godzilla and Kong teaming up.

With all due respect to the Monsterverse, the plot that the author showed us (this particular part) looks much more convincing. Godzilla, without knowing it, created a new enemy for himself. If we judge this way, then at the moment when Godilla looks towards Kong and his mother, he says with his eyes and spikes that he is sorry that this happened. In the first series, Godzilla on hardly sought to specifically kill Kong, but rather to curb his ardor; even Atomic Breath was not so deadly. And the second time, Godzilla felt irritated that Kong turned out to be so stubborn, and then he was completely surprised at how purposeful Kong was, that after several falls he left no chance to fight further I personally think that when Godzilla wanted to use atomic breath for the second time, he said something like: I don’t want to do this, but your stubbornness is beyond what is allowed. And when Aguirus and Rodan laughed, only Godzilla did not laugh, and then completely closed their mouths. And at the end of the fourth episode, when Godzilla saw off Kong, you can see that he looks at him with some sadness, as if saying - I’m very sorry, young warrior...

Ok, so here is my theory. In official GvK novel, it's said that there was war between Godzilla's species and Kong's species in hollow earth. Godzilla's won war, and Kong's needed to migrate to island. Godzilla is older than Kong, wich makes it possible, that he was child/teen during war, wich might make him hate Kongs. We also see Ghidorah, Muto PRIME and obv Scull crawlers. We know that Ghidorah controls Scull crawlers, based on KOTM novel. In same novel, it's said that Kong didn't obeyed Ghidorah. So we can assume that his species would also not obey. So Ghidorah and Scull crawlers might want to take out Kongs. Muto Prime is still active, wich means that he didn't took out Dagon yet(Read Godzilla: After Shock). Wich can mean, that multiple Godzilla's are on island. Thanks to fact, that Muto's Prime prey are Godzilla's, he might go there, to make regular Muto's. That's why he is on island. Basing on fact, that there are probably only few Godzilla's left at that time, Kongs not being able tp fight many Giant Scull Crawlers, and fact that there is FCKING GHIDORAH AND PRIME, we can assume, that most of Godzilla's died here, cuz they were overuned. As i explained before, Godzilla or Dagon, wants to take out Ghidorah, and they hate Kongs(Cuz war in hollow earth). So if any Kong would stand in their way, they will kill him(For example, that one Kong who got beamed). Tl;DR: Godzilla hates Kong, Ghidorah wants to kill Kongs, Godzilla wants to kill Ghidorah, and by accident kills few Kongs. Muto Prime wants to kill Godzilla's.

Great animation; D I have a theory about this why the Godzilla looks like bad guy. It is not certain that this is the Godzilla from 2014-2021, it may be some kind of different Godzilla. But why did she attack the Kong tribe? It should be noted that on the call of the Ghidorah in KOTM all the titans obeyed him maybe that's why Muto Prime and Ramarak of the Scullcrowlers attacked other creatures. But what does this have to do with Godzilla? Well, maybe Godzilla terz had his tribe, where Ghidorach killed the leader of Godzilla and that is why Godzilla did not want to kill the mother of the Kong and the Kong, because it was obvious that his atomic breath was weakening, but when lightning struck him, he recharge again and he got angry, maybe because he did not of his own free will, only out of fear and coercion. But that's just my theory ;D.

I just realized, that probably wasn't Godzilla in Kong's flashback. It was Daegon, a previous member of Godzilla's species that was destroyed during the opening credits in Godzilla 2014.

Kong is very young in this flashback, Daegon was destroyed in the 50s, Ghidorah must have been frozen before Daegon getting bombed. It seems Ghidorah and Daegon took their fight to skull island which killed a large chunk of the Kong population, then sometime after Ghidorah and Daegon took their fight somewhere else, Kong's parents were killed by the skull crawlers that surfaced after the fight.

The concept alone makes sense to me. If there was a war between Godzilla's species and Kong's for whatever reason, it stands to reason for me, Ghidorah's arrival decimated both. Leaving only one standing up to him, Godzilla himself. Kong's people depleting over time.
