If you are auditioning on TV then you are not in a position to expect that people would be patient and listen to you unconditionally. I also really think that Piers only said yes to the knitters because he knew they won't get through anyway after Simon and Amanda's votes. Even if they did, how long would you expect them to last in the competition anyway?? lol

It is quite easy, if you want to finger nit, you start on your thumb and then you wrap it around all your fingers twice, like 1 through 1 and then over and over again, sorry i cant explain it that well, but its quite easy and when it gets long you can make a like rope or something
