Getting Some Much Needed Capacity | Transport Fever 2 | Race To The North | Episode 10

Hello and welcome back to our Transport Fever 2 series!
We're back on the the Race To The North map today where as always there's a heck of a lot to do! We've got our 6 brand new locomotives running on the East Coast Mainline between London and Edinburgh and they've taken the place as our highest earning line.
So now we've got more money to play with, we're going to be making some much needed improvements to some of our railway lines passing through Reading. There's so many passengers waiting, we need longer trains, and more of them!

The London to Swindon line looks to be just right for the platform in London, but it only has 0.59 lodingspeed. Probably something to do with how the code of the station is but is worth looking into cus taking twice as long to load now...

You can do overhead wires out of London towards Brighton as around 1911 the LBSCR did run EMUs on overhead wires out of London Bridge and London Victoria but ended up going as far as Coulsdon North which was completed in 1925. Ended up being converted to 3rd rail, great video

You need to start looking at the rate of your supply lines, for example if your grain farm can only produce 200, you need to match the line rate as close as you can to be efficient, if your line rate is more you are wasting money lol

Joe, on behalf of cross-country we currently only operate 4/5 car voyagers due to train shortages

Maybe in a future episode you could do a route from Oxford - Cambridge with midland railway stock just like the Varsity Line did before succumbing to the Beeching Axe

You should rename the station at Edinburgh to be Wavermarket because of the other main station (I think) in Edinburgh and it would work the same as the other end of the ECML

I hope during the time of the Big 4 you gonna use Steam loco's where they worked in Real Life: LNER for the ECML and there abouts, small and frequent trains and loco's for the Midland Main Line, Staniers big Loco's for the WCML, GWR for trains to Swindon and the likes, Southern loco's for everything Beneath London.
