I have never rooted so hard for someone I didn't know in real life. It always touches me when Barry talks about his mother, as I went through something similar , losing my Dad from addiction at a very young age. At any rate, he is a phenomenal actor & I wish him continued success and happiness 💙

Lol, even before that I'm used to watching movies by myself since I move quite often and it's a hassle to organise going out to a movie: like which time fits everyone, who's coming etc. And sometimes I like to watch some not so popular movies as well. I think that people in the East of the Country have very little knowledge of the Great Famine because it did not impact the wealthier anglasysed part of the country. People from the midlands and Atlantic side of Ireland grew up with the memory, famine graveyards and old workhouse buildings in most towns. It surprises me sometimes how little people from the East know about Irish history and culture.
