how to read Automotive wiring diagrams the most simplified explanation part 2.this video explains how to read fuses switches and wiring to analyze circuits.it also explains the voltage measurements at each point and the color codes of the wires. in addition it also explains how a control module works and also how the lighting system works for low beam and high beam circuits. the voltage measurements of 12 volts is printed at the correct circuit points to make it easy to understand for the viewer. see my channel Joe electronic schematics for Auto and my other channel on Automotive electronic schematics by Joseph. after this video you already to analyze and troubleshoot schematics. I believe first you have to analyze the symbols and components and understand how they work and then you can understand their functions to troubleshoot them.

What does G101 on the grounds mean? I see it all the time

That is a ground connection of physical ground could be many connections go to that ground as opposed to a computer ground connection which the computer controls but this is a physical ground with a cable or a wire

If you go to the diagram with the power distribution all the fuses and grounds they should tell you where they are located or you can even go to a page separately for grounds they will tell you the location the best thing that I recommend is go to Google put in your make and model of your car ask for wiring diagrams for ground and you should get one diagram for free
