We were all led to believe this was the end. Tyler, himself, said that it was time to bring this to a close. His exact words, I believe, were all good things must come to an end. He must have been laughing inside as he said that. Then, during the livestream, he asked if it felt like the end. 60k watching the premiere. epic. i don’t really expect a big nico vs clancy, / light tyler vs dark tyler showdown. i think the point is that we can’t ever completely kill our demons. we need to stop running from them, look them in the eye, make peace with them, learn how to navigate life with them. that’s the real challenge, pushing through darkness, continuing step by step, day by day. but we can use creativity to stoke our light, keep depression etc at bay. for that matter, we can use the darkness to inspire creativity. but maybe i’m wrong and we will see a live battle this fall!
