@ashenbonfire3 жыл бұрын
This is prolly just me bsing but I think that kind of longing void you describe (don't worry, I'm getting that feeling too) is the ideas and emotions that this music evokes. (Explanation paragraph incoming-) Ghibli movies are, at their core, all about life. Friendships, change, experiences, new places, frightening places from being unknown, meeting new and unfamiliar people, a true sense of love, that magic in the world around us. When you listen to this and you feel that sense of want for something you don't even know - I think its a want for what life has to offer. The want to experience, and create, and learn. Not something specific, like a life goal or a bucket list item... but a general want to live even through the simple things. More of the mentality you get into with those things than anything. Try listening to this music while you create, or learn about something you find interesting, or unfamiliar, or even a little strange. A hobby you enjoy, a dummy drawing of a stick figure, figuring out how the keys on a piano can sound if you press 'em in cool ways. When I'm painting and listen to a compilation like this, there's a sense of peace that fills the void of this feeling - because dammit, that's what life can be. In a half-room cluttered with weird, responsibilities on my back, next to my bed scribbling out ideas and dreams beyond what I know... things feel pretty good. :D I hope all that helps, you wonderful heccuva person you!

@@navi3430 Don't worry, tearful stranger. Maybe try your hand at that one project you've wanted to work on for a time? Don't need to get far in it, and it doesn't even need to be good, but maybe the experience will help you learn something new. All the best to ya

I am ordinal Japanese who grew up with Ghibli films and music by Joe Hisaishi. Now, as an adult, I feel that people all over the world love Ghibli's movies and Joe Hisaishi's music, which I feel proves that we all share the same universality as human beings around the world. And I'm very proud of Ghibli and Joe Hisaishi for creating such great works. Great movies and music transcend borders and race.

What an amazing collection. I seriously couldn't ask for anything more. The music paired with the gentle ocean waves reminds me of the Train Scene in Spirited Away. Honestly got chills.

Joe hisaishi's compositions are simply magnific, I can't really get to know how it's possible to express such a variety of feeling and to tell stories just by the rhythm of music, all of joe hisaishi's compositions are masterpieces that guide me through a relaxing and beautiful path.
castle in the sky theme songs hit so hard like 'innocent' oof every single song has a whole new meaning to me but they all give this feeling of calmness and nostalgia to a life i havnt lived like...how is this possible

To : a guy that recommended me to watch "Spirited Away" From : a girl that you knew online I don't know why you cut me off out of your life. I'm so sorry that I wasn't there when you needed me because I was busy with my personal life in real life. Thank you for recommending this movie to me. Glad I watched the movie, it was so good and I liked it. There is a really small chance that you would read it but I just hope you are doing fine now and always be safe. Maybe you already knew, but in case you didn't.. I liked you.

This was such a beautiful playlist. I played it on mellow volume on my speakers in my bedroom. I had the window open and there was a gentle breeze, the Sun shone through, its rays reflecting softly on my work desk. I had my notebook out to do some algebra revision, and I felt so relaxed. Thank you for this.

Сколько идей, замыслов воплощено в жизнь. И сколько ещё предстоит. Это и история, и картины природы, и наша человеческая жизнь. Спасибо. Успехов в творчестве.
Thank you so much. I can't stress out enough how your work impacts me everytime I'm having anxiety attacks and relapses from depression. Been having it tough for the past weeks and you know how it all feels better when you cry it out? The thing is, I can't even cry despite feeling sooo heavy inside. Well not until I start listening to these songs, that is. So thank you so much. I'm pretty sure I'm just one among countless lives you've managed to save through your art. 💖
