I tried it when it first came out, as I recall though the barber added an upsell price. Now that I found out they sell it on Amazon I ordered 2 of the firme hold. Stuff works great, as a substitute to the oil based or wax based product which requires a shower or it causes breakouts on your scalp.

Started using Suavecito about 4 years ago when it showed up at Cliff's Barber Shop in Las Vegas. It was my first foray into pomade from gel. I became an instant fan, from the pricing, the logo, and the product. My personal favorites are their seasonal scents, particularly Warm Clove (winter) and Dark Rum. They also make decent shaving stuff as well. I like their menthol vanishing creme and Bay rum aftershave. Not a big fan of their cream based shave butter though, I prefer to have volume in my shave cream.

So ive been looking to get into using pomade for my hair, i'm just finishing up a Pinaud Clubman hair gel ive had, and Suavecito is definitely a brand I see a lot. Hell my HEB carries it so that's cool. Anyway, this is a great review showing how there is a difference between the strong and regular, how much to use, AND, something i don't see in reviews that often, you showed how it looks and works after an hour or so! I don't see that too often in reviews so i very much appreciate that, since I'd want this to last all day (the gel I use seems to soften and almost leave my hair as the day goes.) Much thanks, great review!

So about 4 months ago i decided to venture out into the hair product world and try a bunch of different pomades and clays suggested from youtube channels like this and others. Honestly i felt like i wasted hundreds of dollars bc every product i tried didnt work for my hair and i ended up only using them once or twice. I have used suavecito forever and their Clay imo is the best i have tried. The oil/waxy content is just what i need to keep my frizzy hair in check and it definitely is matte in my hair. Everyone just has to try things out for themselves. Ive realized that all of suavecitos products are the best for my hair. Good video!

Does suavecito only work if u want it slick back or any hair style?
@leighjoelfierman3705 Жыл бұрын
It will work on either style. It's a matter of working it through your hair for a longer time to achieve a finished style as compared to a slicked back style which is generally worked through for less time. All the products dry quickly. But the clay and matte surprisingly are slower than the original and firme pomade. Overall a great product.

Yes it is. So is Creamo. Any pomade using glycerin based pomade is better. Too many use petroleum based products or smell far too much like a 90 year old man who's lost his sense of smell. The petroleum based ones SUCK!! You need a pressure washer and solvent to wash out what is essentially vaseline. Best thing about the glycerin based ones.... You can mix then with water in a small spray bottle to touch up parts or get down to a cowlick.

Bhaswar Dutta I doubt that will happen, Joe lives in the US. I'll have you know that the Brylcreem line of products varies greatly around the world. I understand that you are from India - and your local Brylcreem line has a variety of products. Internationally, Brylcreem is owned by Unilever as does the Indian version, but they do not have the same products as Brylcreem India does. In the UK a Brylcreem hair wax and some gels are sold but they're very different from the Indian ones. Brylcreem in the US is a whole nother story though - Brylcreem in the US is owned by Combe Inc. and the only product in the line is just the classic hair cream just as used in the past century. Even the Brylcreem original hair creams themselves vary a lot internationally, I reviewed the Indian, Southeast Asian, and European versions and am yet to do one on the US version
