Joel and Ellie (The Last of Us) | Fix You

i don’t edit much, but when i do, i always edit subjects that are full of magic. when i watched the finale of The Last Of Us, I just KNEW i had to edit Ellie and Joel. I played the game, but the show transformed their relationship into such a beautiful and mesmerizing way. Pedro and Bella did such an exquisite job highlighting their relationship in a way that shows how much they saved each other.
i always wanted to edit someone to Fix You, but i never knew who to edit…until now. Ellie and Joel embody this song!!!!!!!!!!!! they truly did fix each other.

Sometimes I feel like such a freak because of how important this show is to me. Even though we never met, it's good to know other people feel the same hurt that I do, and for some reason find the same comfort in these two. This show momentarily helps me in the way that nothing else in the world can.

@@dpayne6516 100% agree. The first game is about Love, the second is about Hate. In the first game, our hero learns to let go and learn to love again. In the second game, our hero learns to let go of hate, and learn to grieve. These are lessons for me too. And it helps to express those emotions through fictional characters - to let them say what I've been unable to say on my own. I hope you're finding the healing that I'm finding. ❤️
