@aesirgaming1014Ай бұрын
As a Celtics fan, I've watched Embiid quite a bit and the baseline is that he's always been a talented, but low IQ player. You can tell that from where he asks for the ball and the shots that he takes. You can tell that because, years into his career, he still hasn't learned to drop his hips low (lowering his center of mass) before he tries to post someone up. You can tell that from the fact that he rarely makes the right read...let alone the right pass. In fact, a lot of Boston's success against Philly has been based around the idea of making Embiid use his IQ to make decisions. For example, defending him on the perimeter with a solid wing or guard...Boston does that because they know that over half the time Embiid will dribble into a contested middie. And Boston isn't the only team...we saw the Raptors do it to him too using OG Anuoby. The baseline for the Sixers is that it's very hard to win at the highest level when one of your most ball dominant players has a low basketball IQ. The best way for Philly to remedy this would be to take the ball out of Embiid's hands and let Maxey run the offense more, but this still isn't ideal because Maxey isn't the greatest floor general. I also didn't see a 34 year old Paul George as a significant upgrade over Tobias Harris. Honestly, if the Sixers were smart, they would blow it up this year, get what they can for Embiid (likely a lot) and look at building around Maxey and their rookie. Even if they magically got healthy and stayed healthy, there's no way this current Sixers roster beats Boston or Cleveland in five. Better to get what you can for Embiid and maybe PG13 and then start over with a great young core.

He could play 70 games every season if he wanted to imo..

The NBA deserves what is happening to them, and no amount of astro-turfing forums and media is going to save them. They built and fostered a culture that most find intolerable, on top of allowing their employees to kill any sense of competitive pride. Yet, they still rig games and seasons against smaller markets, while only focusing on 1-3, usually insufferable, players at a time. Truly insane, and I'm thoroughly enjoying their downturn and oblivious pearl clutching. While simultaneously deluding themselves into believing there is no problem at all. Nothing survives in the entertainment sphere without the casual fan, and the NBA lost them years ago. I strongly doubt the league has the humility and integrity to win them back. Also Lebron likes Diddy parties. They strapped their entire league to a possible diddler at worst, or a true degenerate at best.

Embid just knows their finish. PG was not the move, u need a Cj Mccolum or Bradley Beal

An extremely unserious ‘superstar’ for an extremely unserious basketball team. The fact that this clown is the crowning achievement of ThE pRoCeSs should tell you everything you need to know about the sixers.

I still think he hides or finds excuses to not face Jokic in Denver

Embiid could lose like 50 pounds still be the fattest player in the league and reduce his injuries. can’t believe KAT is a better player over the length of their careers.

The fact I can't state honestly whether Embiid is the biggest problem player-wise says everything about the modern NBA

So it's a legendary career to have 10 playoff games in your career where you shoot under 20% as the main shooter? I mean yeah it's pretty legendary that he gets away with some of the worst stats for a "superstar" just imagine Jokic had at least 1 such game and people would talk about it the next five years... But pookie dookie Joel gets away with shooting 4-21 because he "was sick the day before"

Sorriest MVP in history, give that shit back to Jokic, EmBum.

He's a average player if you look at games when he can't get 15 points off free throws

Can we just start calling him Joel Simmons? Maybe that would light a fire under him.. because it's true.

Embiid is my least favorite player to watch. If dude worked as hard as he flopped he wouldnt have a fraudulent mvp and maybe wouldve gotten out of the 2nd round. The player he always reminds me of is Andre Drummond when he was on the Pistons, all these stats but none of the results. You want people outside the 6ers fanbase to respect you? Earn it, cause your attitude does not seem like you really want it.
