This works. Academic research suggests that adding a momentum criteria (3 mths) not only adds performance, but also decreases fluctuations.

Thanks for the video! In more recent videos you shared specific strategies for investing in FANG, gold, and bitcoin. Usually this involved looking at the MACD or other moving averages. What would be a good strategy for these Magic Formula stocks to avoid drawdown to help improve performance? (or lessen drawdown to use leverage?)

The capital gains tax removes 15-45% of the yearly returns in Australia, depending on the marginal tax rate and greater or less than 12 months.

Hi, I have the book. For clarity, if I bought a stock for $5 and it grew to $10 by the end of the year, I should hold on to the stock right? On the same end If I bought a stock for $5 dollars and it dropped to $2 dollars at the end of the year, I should sell the stock correct?

Thanks for the great review. So once I picked my top 10 stocks, using these strategy, I’m going to keep the same 10 stocks in my portfolio for the long term investment and want replace them with other companies that may be better five years from now, if I’ll do the same Ranking again?

Why financial institutes are excluded in magic formula?
@sleepless25412 жыл бұрын
financials and utilities are excluded due to the differences in capital structure for firms within the sectors, that would lead to skewed/abnormal ratios output

That's true. But I think the proposal of this channel is to help traders to performance better than they are with solid reviews from professionals about strategies and risk management. At least, it's helping me a lot. Not just "profit more buying this or that".

Why didn't anyone else think of that? Just buy into an asset 99.999% of people haven't heard of at the time.
