Glad to see it. We shouldn’t be supporting a company that has dropped sport quads. Racers have catered to Honda for YEARS but it’s always been a one way relationship. Good for you man!

I switched my 2018 yfz450r and went to a can am 450xmx best move I made so far. But good luck on upcoming season 2021 . Yamaha was so unreliable for me... Hopefully one day again the sport quad racing will be like it was in the past.. Awsome sport

I think was a good switch to the yamaha first time i ever saw you race was back around 2006 at lorettas . I said look at this lil kid go hes gonna make it to the pros & so you did & have been crushing it , congrats joel in your raceing & family life . Take care friend 🙏🏼

I love these videos... awesome images and no music just the pure sound of the machine. perfect! I have a TRX but It is true, Honda is doing pretty much nothing for the sport Quads. Perhaps is the time for a change.

He’s fast as hell doesn’t mater what he rides i think this was the right move and I’m sure the support behind it is way better vs honda! Mayb more of this will get some of these other manufacturers to put something new out there!

I've been n YFZ's my entire life, it's all i've owned for quads. It's a great platform and i'm glad to see you with a company who still invests time and money into sport quads. It only makes sense to be riding the latest and greatest, and you weren't getting that on an outdated platform (Honda). Best of luck next season, keeping killing it.

Can’t blame him for the switch. Although I prefer hondas, with the new technology ect Yamaha are just overtaking. Plus, they will continue keeping sport quads a business if more pro riders choose them.

Best thing you could have done, Yamahas are definitely one of the best handling machines and and best turning machines out there too, plus supports the sport by giving the only company still in it even more initiative to keep building and improving. The switch was definitely the right move, it's the most logical as well, because honda hasn't made a actual sport quad since 2014, but Yamaha is still making them and making them better, that efi is hard to beat man, glad to see the switch 😁

Honestly glad to see you make this switch. I’m sure in your position you’ll always have fans but you’ll also always have nay-sayers. It can’t always be easy to go against the crowd and judging by some of the stuff I’ve seen people writing they are hating on you for the switch. At the end of the day what keeps you taking care of your wife and daughter is what matters. Just so happens now you’ll be on the most proven reliable bike and they are brand new for you so keep your head down and bring it for 2021 and shut the haters down!
