A Love letter to my King...🙌
There I was, a teenager in love with the things of God but struggling with one or two inconsistencies though doing a lot for Jesus everyday in reaching out with the Gospel (courtesy of LoveWorld).
One day in my room in that university hostel I started a conversation with the Lord Jesus himself, all in my mind.
Felt his love so strong, the thoughts of scripture flowing through my soul like the currents of electricity coursing through my being.
I had my pen and paper all set and I started to write a love letter to the Holy Spirit; who is of course a very real person who has feelings and a mind and can be hurt and can be happy.
I realised he's more than a wind, an influence or some power, but he was the very Lord Jesus Christ himself.
Who was born of a virgin, lived as a man, suffered humiliation and the curse of sin on the cross, died and went to hell in my place and resurrected unto his glory and hence my glory and I became just like him.
What a love story indeed! 🤍🥰🤗
