I stayed overnight on a property in a rural town in Australia which was once the oldest dairy farm in the town. The owner of this (AirBnb) who was also gay decided to show me around the main house. He showed me the dining room then took me to the once separated rooms where the men and women would have retired to after dinner. Whilst standing near a coffee table which had an open hardcover book on it I saw the book fly off the table as if someone had swiped it away. It landed on the floor next to me slamming shut. I jumped and said to him, "You saw that." He nodded with a slight grin. He did not engage with me further on the the topic other than saying that the homestead has a lot of history being the oldest place in the township. I guess he did not want me to leave a review mentioning this in case it attracted a different type of visitor.
