I think a lot has to do with him losing most of his good looks, now he sems so awkward in his own skin, must be hard to be Rick Oconnell, the ultimate crush of millions and then show up looking overweight , I have seen old interviews were he says he doesnt feel like a hot guy, but more of a funny nerd and I think we forget about that, that the hot guy was more for the roles he played, and he actually never considered himself a sex simbol, so he let himself go, I will always be in love with Rick Oconnell and wish to see him back on top again.

Your comment sounds a bit condescending, as if you're talking him down since he doesn't fit your standards anymore. He's still the same person, he's still Brendan Fraser, fame or not and I wish we could all be a bit easier on him instead of taking pity, and calling him sad and depressing when in reality he's probably doing okay right now, he's just been greatly affected by his circumstances.
