Nice to see someone other than Michigan on your channel

Coaching is 100% about athenticity and it doesn't matter what level you are at. Player can tell when a coach is being fake and the message tends to get tuned out. Also, as pointed out here you see there is no right or wrong way to be successful in coaching. Pete and Nick are complete polar opposites but get the job done. It goes right back to being authentic and real in how you run your program.

How about Ryan Day? He has learned from great coaches

My understanding is Joel is interviewing Sark, not Day. Could be wrong.

I’m torn on Sarkisian. He’s a really, really good coach. He’s been able to learn from the best. Was apart of the USC and Alabama dynasties. But! Having gone to UW there was a lot of things that rubbed everyone close the wrong way. And, him blowing up at the TV worker before the Alamo Bowl in 2022 kinda showed me he hasn’t changed. I know his “story” is he has gotten his life back together….but idk. I don’t think that’s how it works. You don’t have a long record of stuff and then in one year, “I’ve gotten my life together!” This also could absolutely be jealousy on my part/me not knowing enough information/me listening to people who are resentful of him, so I am aware of that.

Scummy scheme. So he front loads money to new players to get them in, plays them less if any sophomore year, then if they want to transfer, Coach tells nfl scouts they don’t love football. Football really is cold blooded.
