Navy has played one of the weakest schedules in the country. ND defense gives up 11.9 points a game. 3rd best in country. ND gives up 113 yards on the ground a game. This game won’t be particularly close. The Navy hype ends this week. They have scored a ton because they play horrible teams. Just look at their schedule.

As an Oregon fan, we’ve had some issues with our D Line this year. Our secondary is incredible, and we have no problem stopping the pass. When it comes to our run defense however, even against Purdue we struggled to stop the run despite the shutout. Definitely a little worried against Illinois for that reason.

The run stats were going to be inflated against Purdue because their QB was a backup that scrambled whenever he even sensed pressure. The ducks held them under 100 yards passing, that won’t happen again, but the rushing totals will come back down. Regardless of how the numbers pan out, I see Dan making sure the Ducks don’t take any game lightly, and so I’d go Oregon 38 - Illinois 17. Not a cover, but a solid beating

Neutral fans should root for Penn St. If Wisconsin wins the luster of next week will be gone. Conference realignment was supposed to lead to more “big games”. Outside of week 7, I haven’t really felt that. Most of this year has been faux “big games” and cupcakes.

I think it's a mix of improvements and bad opponents. However PSU has elite talent. I think winning by 10+ is a solid win. PSU starts hot it can snowball a little imo. We will see

Why does FOX hate whiteout games? They have a guaranteed high ratings game handed to them on a silver platter, but no, Big Noon is too important. No exceptions! Fox's "Big Noon" obsession pisses me off to no end. Any game with national significance should be played no earlier than 3:30. This attempt to make 12:00 games "cool" is pathetic and needs to end. I wish the Big Ten would tell Fox that they are insisting on later games or severing the contract. It's beyond dumb. And yes, ESPECIALLY when you have the opportunity to air a white out game at Penn State--it should be an AUTOMATIC night game!!!! Duck fan here. I'm really concerned that Oregon will not come out with the intensity they need to beat Illinois. The Ducks have had too man close games (that they won) but they've never really shown dominating play. They need to convince, not me, but the committee from here on out that they are championship material. The road to the championship gets more focused from here on out and they can't afford to skate buy. They need to be convincing in each and every quarter of each and every game.
