I just lost my mom and she was my rock. She was why I kept going. I am suffering. I just started going to church and the lord has changed my life. I pray to God for help of a mother that saw her only daughter drown in the family swimming pool, and couldn't save her in time... She is consumed by guilt and endless agony and all consuming despair of eternal darkness and infinite sadness. Nothing can console her, nothing brings relief to her pain and regret, and horrifying self doubt of what-if, what if they had a different home? what if they didn't move there ? Thousands of what-if's that would mean her little girl would still be alive. I can only console her by reminding her we will ALL be together again one day in Heaven, and remind her of Mother Mary's pain of seeing her Son Jesus Crucified. I pray God will help her heal.
