I recently listened to a senior pastor..in my opinion one of the most respected pastors in the USA. No disrespect to pastor Joel... I think pastor Joel Osteen is awesome.. about this other pastor, he said one of the greatest biblical lessons he learned..kinda funny..a lady invited him to her house...he was her pastor.. she was a bit elder than him... when they got to her home, she said she will like him to come to her bedroom..he said he was now confused.. anyway, he followed her to her bedroom.. when they got to the bedroom, she pointed out to a wall and said " look pastor, I wanted you to see that".. evidently it was a painting of Daniel in the lions' den.. Daniel was looking up towards the Lord, and away from the lions..the pastor was in awe...he said that painting reflected one of the most beautiful bible lessons he learned...in about 6 decades of being a pastor..

Thank you , Joel! I needed to hear these words to help me stay strong and have hope & peace in my heart! I just found out about a month ago that I have breast cancer. I haven't cried this much since my mom passed away five years ago. I am a believer, I pray, I praise, and I thank the Lord everyday! The words you used in this sermon, I remember my mom saying so often throughout my life. Be still and know that I am God! God's got this! Let go, Let God! So many other words I remember her saying.. Thank you, Joel! You have brought peace into my heart tonight, and if I have anymore fear ,I promise you, I'll watch this sermon again! I'm going to see my surgeon this Monday. Thank you Joel for your messages from God. My children and I lost our home and our belongings in hurricane Ian. I have been so depressed. The kids and I are sleeping in air mattresses in my family's spare room. And we are thanking God for always taking care of us. We listen to Joel's sermons every morning while getting ready for school. He keeps us reminded that God loves us and hasn't forgotten us. He keeps us serving the lord. Thank you God for bringing Joel's messages to the world.
