For too many years I thought being Narcan'd when I OD'd healed me. I had my first felony at 41. I lost everything. But I came out of the hospital with no withdrawals and no cravings. It wasn't until years later that I was telling my story and this person told me Narcan doesn't cure addiction. Looking back now I realize it was God all along. When I was crying out thinking He wasn't listening. When I hated myself and thought I could never be forgiven. When I was so sick and just wanted the pain to end. He was there all along I will never go another day without giving Him all the glory and praise! 12 years and 5 months clean. ❤❤❤

I just heard this song today. I went in and out of AA. First clean off meth and then couldn't leave the alcohol alone. One day i literally crashed (my car) and got arrested for the first time at age 37. I went through hell for the next 5 1/2 years. I'm 48 now and 11 years sober. In 2023 I finally became Jesus struck. Born Again and everything is different for me now and i am still changing. I love Jesus!!!! If someone told me 11 years ago this would happen to me I would not have believed them. This song actually made me cry for how good I have it now despite the world. Glory to God. Thank You for AA and the Bible.

@joenester I wanted to give a shout out to you and everyone who prayed about my homelessness. I'm still homeless, but I've felt God with me every step of the way. Through every scream, through every swear, through all my headache and my tears. I got a letter from emergency housing in mid Sept, and I have to just provide some info. So I praise Jesus for that. I do need some extra prayer though. I got the letter late and I only get 30 days. I didn't get the letter until Sept 20th even though they mailed it on Sept 10th. They need it by Oct 13th. I need prayers that I can get everything to them by then. Everything of mine is in storage, so I don't have the things they need, but I can write a detailed description of what happened. Can you please keep me in prayer that I can get this housing.

@@shanedallmeyer176 I've laid my life down 4 years ago 😊 I've been with Christ for a long time. I just feel like things are just starting to look up. I believe it's because I've been putting so much time, tears and work into the Bible this past year. I started this Bible lesson course at home in April, and got 14 lessons (which was over 300 questions that I wrote out, then went into the Bible to look up every verse to every question.) Doing all of this on my own, gave me so much more knowledge, then actually going to the church I went to. All they taught was grace and forgiveness. That's not all the Bible talks about. It's not all about mercy. Nobody is teaching anyone about the demons we have to fight everyday, the spiritual warfare we go through. Anytime I would talk about things God showed me spiritually, the pastor would roll his eyes. But if it happened to him, he'd expect everyone to believe him. He doesn't realize, God uses those who are weak and poor to give visions and signs too, cause I feel we're the ones that would absolutely search God, verses someone who was raised in Christ already. Alot of ppl who were raised in God, walk away at some point in life because they never see a miracle. Because they've had everything already, so there was never a reason to search Him. I would love to be in a discipleship home, my only question is, would my husband be able to be there with me? I have two girls who don't live with me but I get them about 40% of the year. I'm located in Mass, so how would it work?

Its crazy how when you get sober, sn look back on the way you used to act when you were on drugs an drinking, you get embarassed. Like when your in that mindset your not thinking clearly at all. You become a whole diffrent person. In a bad way. I was on klonopin an xanax for 9 years, an been otf of it for 2 years, an when i look back on the things i used to do its like somebody else was doimg it. The last 9 yesrs of my life seem like a dream. Like a wasted dream. But i guess the only left to do is to try an make a better future. An try to enjoy the moment. Cause you only live once. Like that verse were jesus says not to worry about tommorow because today has enogh troubles of its own. Let tommorow worry about itself. Its true too, worrying is a complete waste of time. Cause in the end, as long as you live for jesus, everything will be alright.
