It's a river, Pielisjoki. At that point it's about 300 metres wide. Fun fact, they've found evidence of stone age inhabitance at that very spot where you were filming. About 1-2 kilometres downstream is to current knowledge the earliest stone age settlement in North Karelia, in Mutala, from about 5200 bce.
