First Tournament Of The Year! Practicing For MWC Spring Valley

A couple days on the IL River with my long-time friend, Mark Michael. Practicing for the 2023 MWC Spring Valley tournament. River conditions were not optimal and temps are crashing but it felt great to get on the water after a long winter.

Nice! My backyard, too. My wife is from Spring Valley, and we got married at Starved Rock nearly 30 years ago. I found your channel because of the tfx. I just sold my Ranger because we're anticipating leaving the Illinois River Valley. It could be complicated for a year or so, and I don't want to have to worry about my nice boat. The Yarcraft and Vexxus have my eye once we're settled down. We won't be going far, Southwestern WI, we're thinking. Anywhere but Illinois.

Hey Joe quick question what is that bait at the 1446 mark of vid. Like a blue chrome shad looking body but looks like a jr thunderstick bill.. unless thats a prototype.. also love the yar. I bought one years ago because of some of your vids on them. 209tfx 300vrod. And it rides so nice handles great...

How do you swivel those Brew City mounts up? Do you have to retighten them with the Allen wrench every time?

Only occasionally. I tighten just enough so it doesn’t move when deployed easily but loose enough to rotate and stow easily.

Saturday ‘s weather was the worst have ever fished in. We did luck out and have a place that my boat fit in the heated garage.
