My dad was in the ICU with double viral pneumonia, suffocating and mere minutes from death. They told us to come and say goodbye, but he pulled through just barely. He later described seeing brand new colors. NEW colors - that did not exist in the visible spectrum. For the rest of his life, he could recreate them in his mind, but he could not describe them to us because there was nothing in this existence to compare them to. Sounds a lot like the DMT/death experience mentioned here.

DMT is created in the brain in small amounts, and you're brain has enzymes that break down DMT. So I have theorized that that when you die or almost dead the enzymes stop working properly and this said creates a DMT trip.

Hope this helps someone.

I dont think that is a common realization from DMT. More common is that this life is like an illusion. Time is not linear. DNA , family etc its all meaningless. Death is nothing to worry about, and so on
@perthfalcon2 жыл бұрын
I think that's very possible to the point of probable. I for sure beleive in genetic memory as far as traits / skills that you're suited to through familial lines. Archery is mine, always loved it been naturally good at it and it feels right. Look into the family history and it's welsh and english bowmen for centuries. I can see no reason for trauma to be any different. I try to go into trips seeking wisdom and sometimes find a lot. Never feared death much but now i know that I'll just go back into the slow deep vibration inhale exhale of the universe. Fine with that
@jremodel92942 жыл бұрын
@@perthfalcon Loved archery as well. did it at summer camps as a kid, Even made my own out of a branch as kid. made my own arrows. Of course it wasnt very good, but the arrows flew, somewhat. Instead of through a dna genetic line , maybe certain interests and familiarities comes from a mental memory. People say I speak several languages in my sleep. I only consciously know English. None of them are Spanish, yet on a trip I caught myself speaking full on spanish . I realized after a bit Im speaking spanish and I have no idea what Im even saying. The bow/arrow thing. Im not native american but Ive always felt a connection to that way of life, ( the life of old,) or hearing the ceremonial chanting, very soothing to me. People are born with tails, webbing in the digits, stillborn with reptile skin, fish scales , even gills. That in college was said to be proof of genetic memory dating back millions if not a billion years. Interests , natural talents, familiarities, I think are more related to past lives than ingrained in the dna.

My father and I did not have a loving relationship in our early life...but we made amends as time went on. I did love my father, just not like that. It was also in that moment I realized I was open and exposed. My thoughts were not private. My soul was bare. It always hurts me when I think about my response ...but I didn’t know what was happening and in that moment my response was honest. I felt a little ashamed. I've done DMT about 10 times , but im usually just laying in my bed with very low lighting and just chilling and I've seen insane shit . But one time I got up and walked into my hallway where I had a picture of a French bulldog that Friend had painted for me . I started staring at it and literally watched the painting starting to undraw and redraw itself. It went from a painting to a blank canvas to the painting again line by line like someone was drawing it in front of me .Seeing real life things change like that instead of just things with my eyes closed was insane definitely made me rethink what is real and what is not , Wild shit

That's one of the effects. Being unable to discern what is reality and what isn't. I watched my legs grow, what I thought, was 100ft and watched as my breathe went out and back in. I sat up and screamed no and it faded but I know now that if I would have accepted that invitation I would have blasted off.

It wasn't DMT but I had an experience, while high, that the people I was interacting with were "acting" life. Listening to them was like hearing actors recite lines and watching them was like watching a play. Real weird. Edit: I should elaborate a little that I wasn't just high but in the middle of a traumatic experience. I won't go into the details, but this was the only time I had that experience. I do not see people as actors in my movie, It's also not something I want to experience again. Also, the drug at the time, was neither shrooms or acid.

When I was 18 I had a really bad motorcycle accident involving a horse and a car and had a shattered pelvis and shattered femurs and bleeding internally. It hurt a lot and I black out and came back and I didn't feel one bit of pain, everything was in HD and I was at complete peace with everything. The blood on the road was so vibrant and I could see every indentation in the road with pure clarity. It was the calmest I've ever been in my life and it was at a time that I should not of been calm. I was told that I had a 10% chance of surviving through night. I did DMT for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The first 2 minutes or so were the most terrifying 2 minutes of my life. I felt like I was losing my sanity. While this terror was going on I was seeing the most spectacular geometric swirling colors surrounding some humanoid ish beings. The remaining 10 minutes or so were just a very calm emptiness where I felt a deep sense of safety. I've done mushrooms many times as well as acid many times and find them very tame compared to My DMT trip. I doubt I will ever do it again. Just the thought of doing it again horrifies me. All that being said; I do believe I'm altered in some way. More calm and more confident. I'm very thankful to others sharing their experiences! Thanks Joe and Blaire! 🙏

From someone who died and came back to life (NDE,) my DMT experience was very different. My NDE was very linear, very specific, just more heightened awareness. The better question we should have is what is consciousness, consciousness lives on after the body dies. Just the fact that there is so much psychic phenomenon that cannot be explained tells us how limited we are in our understanding of what is everything in relation to everything else.

Done it once 4 years ago and don't really see myself doing it again atleast at the moment. After 3 hits from vape and hearing like someone crunched plastic bag or something in back of my head I shot through the tunnel to space. It was like i was floating in pink jelly with every shade of pink with these beings looking like laughing hearts showing me things. The middle part after that i can't really remember, but at some point after what feels like forever i started feel like what if im stuck here and in essence faced my mortality. I begged them to let me see my friends and loved ones again. After that i was in a rollercoaster going really fast seeing the beings, my loved ones and friends smiling and waving at me on the sides. And in the end i see myself and the rollercoast ends at me returning to myself. It was really powerful and beautiful experience and made me understand more clearly to hold on to my loved ones and spend time with them.

To add to this i was 26 when i tried psychedelics for first time. I would suggest everyone to be responsible and not rush to trying these substances because they can fuck up your brain. Your brain develops until around 25 so i would recommend most to wait until then because then you also really know if youre sure or not. And dont try to use them to heal traumas, depression etc. Seek prof help first.

I can’t say anything about dmt. But I experimented with shrooms this past summer. Was NOT prepared for what I realized about the universe. Ended up getting diagnosed with a drug induced psychotic disorder, derealization, depersonalization, panic attacks, existential anxiety. And it’s been 4 months and I’m still not the same. My perception has been permanently altered in my brain. My view of reality feels so different now. It’s takes a lot of time to adjust to this

You aren't suppose to realize anything about the universe. You are suppose to realize the universe and reality is what you make of it. Do not look to take psychedelics for the purpose of analyzing what is and isn't reality. Reality isn't something you calculate or reckon. It's something you experience. Reality exists because all us as humans agree it exists on average a certain way. At an individual level, it exists with so much more complexity. Reality isn't science. It's how you feel. It's how you are EXPERIENCING. By "you", I mean your "I"...The sense of self that allows all sensations to be experienced and births them into existance. Have you ever just been? You might have, but you aren't being with derealization, depersonalization, panic attacks, and existential anxiety. Stop trying to control everything. Stop trying to calculate everything. Stop trying to look for problems to solve. Stop trying to say and reckon what is and what isn't. The reality is that you are so afraid of what you have seen, you realize you cannot control or calculate it within your saeculum. So, you are running away from reality. You are afraid. Stop running. Stop altogether. Breathe. Be. Let thoughts that ruminate and calculate flow through you. Don't block them. Don't fight them. Let them pass through you. Acknowledge them, hold them for a moment if you must, but then let them go. If you are up for it, take one more shroom trip. If you are afraid, then don't take it. If you are tired of being afraid, take it. If you are afraid, but still take it, it is exactly what you need. While you are tripping: experience your fear. You didn't do that before and that is how you developed psychosis...You don't trust what you see, and your brain is responding accordingly. Trust your "I". Your "I" is reality. Explore it. But know that you, your sense of "I" is powerful. Find your sense of self. It's lost and drowning in your fear. Before hand: No other drugs in your system (weed, psychedelics, etc.) Meditate. Eat healthy. Then...experience. You will be lost when you first enter the trip on the comeup...but be lost. Find yourself. Let the wave guide you. If you fall out of the wave, experience what you must, but then eventually return to the wave. Pain and suffering is not something to necessarily avoid, it is a character building experience...helps you determine who you are. Who are you? Why are you? These are questions ONLY YOU answer for yourself. I don't know you, but I love you...even when you don't love yourself
@BigManJev3 жыл бұрын
@@NinjaPixies thank you very much. A lot of your words help me for sure. I guess I spend too much time trying to think or find answers about consciousness, reality, ect. The mushrooms made me question everything. It made me realize how fucking insane it is that we all here. Or are we all here. Or is it just me. Is everything in my head. What the fuck is anything? But I’ll never know. You’ll never know. So why should I live in fear everyday wondering about what everything is. I need to make the best of my life
@EmilyEasthom3 жыл бұрын
Your brain isn’t permanently altered. Don’t worry. Eventually it will fade. At least that’s what happened to me. Except with weed, but now that I think about it it was probably laced with something else because the experience was odd. I wasn’t hallucinating besides trees kind of swaying and everything going in and out and most of the night was blacked out for me. I was 16 at the time it was the worst night of my life. I experienced my first panic attack, I went into the woods and said “I’m a bush” and someone gave me a slice of pizza which I threw on the ground because I thought it was going to attack me. Then I started getting panic attacks regularly on a daily and experienced depersonalization/derealization for probably 6-7 months. I became obsessed with existentialism during those months and I felt like my brain was permanently broken. It faded though. I recommend staying busy and exercising - specifically running. I viewed humanity differently too. So I doubt it was just weed I had smoked. Regardless, not touching substances like that again and haven’t since. It was a one time thing but it put me through a weird existentialism phase for 6-7 months.

I can honestly say reading the posts about people's near death experiences has given me some hope about my brothers death...he passed away on new years day this year (42 yo with a family). He was found with no pulse, unresponsive and brought back, he then had to be brought back 3 more times "supported"..he was analyzed for neurological damage and only had seizure activity, eventually succumbed to yet another failure of the heart... I kept getting the feeling that he was with us from above hanging on to his body for us to say goodbye. He had calm energy bursts when I did reiki on him, even in my state of adrenaline stress I was still able to make that calm connection with him...I knew at that moment he was ok, he was chill and his energy was not of worry or pain. Long story short my worry is that he panicked knowing he was dying without help... but, the stories of what it is like to basically go through the process of body failure and the chemicals that go through the body before death make me realize that, even if he had been unable to get help and died alone his altered state would have made it all ok...I want to keep reading everyone's near death stories because, in an odd way it is comforting to me to learn that he could have been at peace at some point dying alone.

With her story about "this is not the end" I did it with a friend and he saw flamingos, and there was a bench that had a face and was MAD at the flamingos. At the time I was at a job with a person who I learned was trying to get me fired just because they didn't like me. In my friends experience, he was explaining in real time, the flamingos were having a blast and the table was just mad as could be. Literally the next day at work, I dropped off someone at a nursing home and saw a large plaque that said something along the lines of, "don't be a pigeon, be a flamingo". I still have the picture of me standing in front of it and I immediately sent it to my friend. I've had a few dmt trips where the message crossed over into waking reality. I pay close attention now in my dmt experiences to tune into the message being relayed to me after these events.

My DMT trip... Took about three months to even give a basic explanation of my experience. Each step was an infinite distance ahead and in depth. I "came" out from multidimensionality (I guess??) into the lesson. As I came out there was a period between "here" and "there" where I was slowly waving my hands in front of me and the sensation was... "How and I'm here. In body. Everything. All of it." Yeah, it's a shamanic experience. Take it easy with it. Yeah it's a conscious breakthrough... And I got that clowning er lesson. Mine was music. Really banal colleration to my life I thought cos I have a pretty broad music genre taste. Year years later I realised that the music colleration was music = people ... Genres are cultures/societal-cliques ... and the clowning was... You like this bizzare genre, and this one. But not this one?? And why not this style? What about this??? And I would perceive styles beyond my ken, and I was left aghast thinking, yeah yeah why not like that that that that that Hehe how can people do DMT all the time when just one sesh is enough. Like a channelled message from the gods, figure and integrate all about that message before moving on. One can get addicted to the possibility of ascending... Always testing but never becoming. DMT is not a "drug". It is a life altering experience.

I've looked after many who calmly describe the elves, jesters or little people and their descriptions are unbelievably similar. It's always stood out to me as more like to a trip hallucination than a medical hallucination because the person is usually incredibly calm whilst talking about it, even when the elves are causing trouble and being mischievous it's never seemed scary or confusing. As I felt the DMT hitting me and started sinking deeper into the experience something told me “you don’t own this body, I do, and I’m not letting you get any deeper than this”. At that point I opened my eyes and stood up. For some reason my trip leveled out and nothing else happened. My buddy came in the room and was shocked to see me walking around. He told me he had just given me my third hit less than a minute ago and was just coming in to check on me. I told him what happened. We were both confused. this is really so mind blowing that it's like.. beyond what I even thought to expect. I got myself a bunch of DMT, and I've had multiple experiences on it over the course of like the past week. The primary effects are that you see unimaginably impossible crazy kaleidoscopic impossibly-detailed animated QUICKLY MOVING multicolored insanity. Imagine watching water splash in slow motion, and the surface of these water droplets, imagine if they are reskinned with some ridiculously-detailed patterns and symbols and meanings and shit.. and all that moving around at a blinding pace and sometimes freezing.. and then the freeze frame warps into unimaginable hallucinations that literally can't be described by words. you enter a reality for which there is no point of reference in the normal human experience. it is so utterly alien. So that's part of the typical effects. However, there's also THEM. They are sometimes referred to as the machine-elves. once I got past the kaleidoscopic INSANITY of visuals, I found that I was within a space.. like an environment. it wasn't just colors and shapes, but I literally saw that I was at some location somewhere. and this location was inhabited. There were alot of female entities that would dance around for me, with like 80 arms and legs all warping in and out of each other, etc. Some of them would just chill on the sidelines while their friends danced for me. And this is the really fucking crazy mindblowing part of it.. we started forming a relationship. We literally began to interact with each other and bond. They have a sense of humor too, and they're funny as hell. They showed me their perspective of how when they were dancing for me, that they lost balance and almost fell over at one point, and it was really funny to them, and they shared this with me, and I saw the humor in it and laughed with them. theyre like "right? you get it? lol!" I was in on their joke, and they appreciated that I understood. I felt welcomed by them, and we would hang out and just.. interact/communicate telepathically. It was like the DMT is a conduit that allows us to contact each other. It seems like they're from another universe, where the existence of their reality is totally utterly alien compared to what we're used to in our universe. Every time I smoke the DMT, I materialize in their world and they celebrate and welcome me. This is the purest and most literal example of a "drug relationship" lol. We can only hang out with each other during the DMT trip, and they know this. It's almost like "ok see you next time!" I literally formed a relationship with them and bonded with them, and even shared each other's sense of humor. And at every subsequent trip, we see each other again, and they recognize me from last time. This is like the most amazing shit I've ever experienced. I don't know what to make of it. It literally seems like they exist in another universe with its own laws of physics, and somehow when I smoke DMT, I am taken to and materialize in their world and we get to hang out and play with each other. An ongoing relationship spanning multiple trips. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE lmao!! It's fucking mind blowing!

My friend did DMT in front of me and told me that I was orange and green. He said that he could see people's energies and could assess hidden emotions (while high). Everything started breathing he said. He felt extreme euphoria, didn't "ascend" or see beings, but time moved extremely fast for him. He closed his eyes for about 8 seconds but swore he was out and not breathing for at least 3 minutes. Trippy. I passed on DMT after witnessing that lol.

I feel like some good advice for psychedelics, particularly shrooms, is: you have to be willing to accept the revelations as they come, and ride the wave. If you aren’t able to control thought loops while sober, aren’t in a receptive state, and don’t feel safe- it’s probably gonna be a much more difficult experience. If there’s some trauma that you’re trying to work through- Molly is always a good start. Also, it’s best to do shrooms sober. The idea is to face your pain with open arms, not numb it. There might be tears, there might be discomfort, but ride through it.

those "elves" they are always constantly talking about are fallen angels aka demons .. people have absolutely no idea that you are literally opening portals for demons to attach themselves to you when you do drugs like that .. you can laugh all you want but there is a reason satanists and the occult do these drugs because that is how they are able to see satan and communicate with demons .

Yes I had a friend who was addicted to DMT, was doing it every day for a few months. Than one day had a trip where "shadow things" kidnapped him and were stabbing him all over he said he could feel the stabbing pain. He thinks it lasted for about 10 mins. Sure enough he has layed off the dmt.

DMT VS NDE - A close friend of my dad’s, was in a serious motorcycle wreck back in the 80s and was dead on the side of the road for 13 minutes - as this happened outside town on a country road , and it took the EMT about as long to get there. He had an NDE in that time, and he talked about that story ever since I was little, swearing it was more real than anything. What I found interesting is that who he was before this, and who he was after were very different people. He used to carry a lot of anger and depression like my dad from Vietnam (they were war buddies). But after his NDE he became a calm, peaceful happy person. Even when he had cancer 20 years ago he was like “it’s nothing to worry about, im not leaving here for while yet” as if he knew it for a fact. He survived it, and is now 76. Now that I am all grown up and my dad has long since passed, I do some work for Gary from time to time just to kinda keep in touch and hear stories about my dad n whatnot. So a couple years ago I scored some DMT from a friend of mine, and decided since I was going out to do work at the ranch, I would bring it along. Gary is kind of a hippy, and I knew he would jump on the chance to try it. But I actually had an ulterior motive. I was really curious what he would say about the experience, compared to his NDE. But I didn’t let him know this was my plan. Long story short, after he did it, he was pretty stoked about it, and I ended up “giving” (😎) the rest of it to him. He did it several more times while I was out there working that week. But the thing he said almost directly after his first trip was “I know you want to know if this could be what caused the experience in my accident. It really tripped me the fk out when he said that. Anyway, the following weekend and the night before I was to return back home, he calmly said, “No…..It’s not the same. My [his NDE] was absolutely without question real, and that [DMT] was surreal”. He basically explained that his NDE was the same as being none-impaired conscious as we sit here now, only you are ultra aware, just no longer physically here, and back closer to the source, while DMT was more like an impregnated realm, being projected outward for you to experience. He very clearly explained his NDE as crossing over, and DMT as seeing an expression. I dunno if his NDE was real or not. I would like to think it is. I mean long before NDE’s were a thing he was talking about it when I was a kid and swore up and down it really happened and explained what happened in great detail for over 40 years and has the facial scares and missing chunks of skull to prove he was in a serious accident. And his whole persona changed after his experience. Seems like a weird thing to lie about. But who knows….The second thing is, he’s no DMT expert and neither am I. Nobody is really. He has only done it 6 times I am aware of. But he says they are two wildly different things and that he had doubts with DMT, whereas he had zero with his NDE. To him it was just as real as me sitting on my ass typing this as Rogan talks about elves in the background. Anyway. Figured I should share it, since the they touched on it in the clip here, and figured others might be curious. Would love to hear from anyone else who has had an NDE and done DMT, or is open to trying it for the sake of “science”. It’s a strange feeling not knowing what we really are, if we are in fact something more….

i've done dmt 7-8 times and "Blasted Off" 5-6 off those times.I did DMT (NN) so it only lasted 12-15 minute but it seems that it lasts much longer. I've also had 2 NDE(near death experiences )where I was clinically "dead" both those times. The first time the NDE was very similar to a DMT trip. The second time not so much. I understand why people say that its similar. I always meet these beings that are made out the brightest white light I've ever seen. I find it amazing that people have similar experiences on DMT. It makes me believe that you are actually going somewhere unlike LSD or Shrooms. I think that DMT is some sort of key that opens a different dimensions,I don't know I'm just taking a guess.

This comment hit home. Ive been smoking weed for over 25 years daily. When I started microdosing mushrooms they opened an internal dialogue I never heard before. Every time Id light a spliff Id hear a voice say you dont need that. The more mushrooms I consume the louder this voice is when I smoke. Its to the point where I just dont eat mushrooms anymore because they want me to quit weed. Hopefully one day I will listen.
