Common sense tells us the Earth is flat. I think it was Einstein that said that. It's funny, silly, but also true. I'm not contradicting you the phrase "common sense" always makes me think of that quote. I mean, he was right wasn't he? Go up to the highest mountain peak an look, it seems flat from our tiny perspective. You can't see what it really is until we get up high enough. An there are still people today that think earth is flat, all the videos, photos etc etc are faked for some reason?????

When talking about science, he's pretty much a m0ron, has no clue what he's talking about. It's typical of these no-nothing populists with severe Dunning-Kruger overload to opine away cluelessly, they're no difference than Terrence Howard saying 1+1=2, that's how ridiculous Bill Maher is when trying to talk about biology. Yeah dude, they haven't mapped everything out yet, it's an extremely complex system. But of what we have mapped out, we know a lot, and the best thing we have is consensus, that's all we can have. We didn't use to know Pluto existed, we had only mapped 8 planets. Does that mean the experts weren't right about the 8 planets? We even know there was a 9 planet, we just didn't know where to look originally. Rogan hates educated, experts, after all, he was a fscking Moon Landing denialist and has Flat Earther friends. Gawd I hate the anti-intellectualism of these m0ron populists. They're bringing this country down, at the same time the MAGA crowd is trying to keep out immigrants, who are often vastly more educated and knowledge than they are. I have worked in tech for 30 years, and honestly, if not for the Asians, Indians, and Jews who immigrated, we'd be fscked to compete with China. This kind of anti-science, anti-expertise behavior didn't exist in the 50s, even conservatives were in favor of our institutions. Now we've devolved into a society of ignoramuses, who don't want to put into the REAL WORK to learn a subject, but instead with to be fed conspiracy theory BS on podcasts. Good fscking grief.

It's more expensive to eat fast food. It's cheaper to buy a bunch of ground beef and frozen vegetables-a couple of sacks of potatoes. You have to be intentional about it. It's just that people are addicted to all the chemicals in fast food and can't cook. This idea that it's because people are broke is ridiculous. I eat clean and work in maintenance. You have to want to eat clean. Take some personal responsibility
@HH-gv8mx6 ай бұрын
@@kylekitzman as a health and fitness coach and an avid runner , I assure you I do it clean. I cannot remember the last time I ever Even had fast food and the last time I went out to eat was a few years ago. I can tell you this, I spend $400 a month just on produce just for myself. And I do not believe that it’s cheaper to eat clean than to eat fast food.. , I know that’s not true. You can download apps and find deals every single day for fast food. I never get a discount on organic blueberries raw almonds. Scallops or cod. I just bought 2 red onions and a couple avocados and spent $11. A box of spinach was seven dollars. One zucchini cost me $2.25. One kombucha, $4. And one piece 3.65 Oz fish $9. That’s barely a whole meal and I’m sure you could get ATLEAST two fast food meals for that price. BOTTOM LINE, IT’S CHEAPER TO EAT LIKE SHIT THAN IT IS TO EAT HEALTHY.

He's like, you know, honest, funny, doesn't pander to anybody, and, you know, he gets right to the point without, you know, floundering and talking around a subject, and, you know, he's just smart about a lot of random things like, you know, alternate media, being woke, religious, common sense, and communication like, you know, podcasts, and anything that matters to average, you know, people. You know, there might be a drinking game with the phrase, you know, whenever Bill repeats, "you know." Keep it, you know, REAL TIME, Bill!

However at the Olympics her body was just wrecked. Her final time was 10th, it was so hard on her physically and emotionally, but we all thought she was an amazing athlete. 🥇 Now back to the show , I’m finding Bill Maher very egotistical. Yes his a funny man but he doesn’t like listening to an opposing opinion, even though he says he does. I think this very interview highlights why Joe has so many subscribers he listens to everyone, has his own opinions but doesn’t belittle anyone for different views. Bill said Joe is king, well he is. All he said was that on his show he has to wear a suit and his hair has to be perfect. Perfect as in, the best that his hair can be. Not perfect as in, I have perfect hair.

I've taken a number of LSD trips, and mushroom trips, but by far my most psychedelic experience was the time I kind of ODed on hash oil. I got so high so fast that I had to lie down or fall down. I laid on an soft old brass bed, in the completely quiet dark, and had these beautiful visions. They looked like computer animation, accompanied by an auditory hallucination of great music that sounded like an orchestra of synthsizers. This was 1972 -- there was no computer animation, and only synthesizers were huge machines, available only to people like Pink Floyd or The Beatles. I was able somewhat to direct the mental movie I was watching, and change it a little, but I don't think I could have stopped it. I had no desire to stop it anyway, and it just sort of faded slowly away. Joe's relating Terrence McKenna's idea about marijuana as a psychedelic reminded me of this experience. And I'm old, so I'm full of stories. 🤓
