I love Dr. Gordon. After double hip replacement surgery, my surgeon warned me against using testosterone and HGH, saying it could be dangerous-but I knew better. Mark prescribed them anyway, and I trusted the process. At the time, I had just finished making Bigger Stronger Faster (now back on Netflix, by the way). Three months later, my surgeon looked at my X-rays and was blown away. He said I should be the poster boy for bone regrowth because he’d never seen anything like it. When he asked what I did, I told him, ‘Exactly what you told me not to do.’ Performance-enhancing drugs aren’t just for athletes anymore-they can help improve everyone’s quality of life.

Docs wanted to juice me with HGH when I was a kid and my mom didn't let them because I was healthy just small. She didn't let them juice me and I wonder how young I would have had a full beard or what may have happened if she let them juice me at age 4 with human growth hormone.

@MISGUIDEDSON14 минут бұрын
Exactly. This reminded me of the latest James Fox episode, 2246. These guests come on and have nothing new to contribute to the convo. The end result is them promoting a product. Time and time again, Joe has Jamie use ChatGPT or google because the guest hasn't been screened. They don't deliver anything of value. The end product is an awkward convo, and Joe interviewing Joe. There will be a time when this model will fail. Viewers are getting very tired of the same content over and over. This will result in losing a lot of your viewership. Furthermore, Joe Rogan isn't an "average" guy anymore. He stopped being a representation of the layman years ago. I know he has always had wealth, but the time has come when what got him to the dance isn't what is being delivered anymore. I cannot resonate with rich people smoking cigars and talking about being rich. It's boring and doesn't relate to the average guy anymore. A few episodes are still interesting, but 90% of them have the same content and information over and over. This interviewing model will fail. You must lightly screen your guest for new information on the edge of science/fringe. Then, have your viewership research for themselves.

A comment of mine detailing what I went through was deleted. Here were highlights: inmate chewing flesh from wrist and spitting at window between us. Cutting inmate from hanging. Various serious incidents as part of response team. The vicarious trauma hearing the inmates stories. Endless list.

I had diagnosed PTSD from severe abuse and trauwhen young and a young adult. When I was around 25 I had almost killed myself trying to drink through the pain to the point where I would have alcohol withdrawal seizures at .25 BAC it was really bad. I finally couldn't take it anymore I went to a medical detox facility got dried out and then sat in a room with myself and had a long talk about my situation. What the fuck can I do about the past trauma? There are 2 options. I can acknowledge them learn from them and leave them in the past OR I can allow it to allow myself to destroy myself like a fucking pussy bitch. I didn't want to go out like that. So I started working hard to control everything I can control and let go of what I can't. I don't go to meetings I work and come home and play with my little daughters and wife. It is all a matter of priorities and mind over later when you boil it down to it's core

In the fullness of time, the mainstream handling of chronic Lyme disease will be viewed as one of the most shameful episodes in the history of medicine because elements of academic medicine, elements of government and virtually the entire insurance industry have colluded to deny a disease. This has resulted in needless suffering of many individuals who deteriorate and sometimes die for lack of timely application of treatment or denial of treatment beyond some arbitrary duration.

I was camping not far from Banff Alberta with my friend and his family. We went for a hike on the mountain, there was 4 adults and two children in our group and we came across 2 grizzly cubs and out of nowhere a HUGE Grizzly mamma bear came out of the trees. Us guys immediately stood in front of our children and their mom. We had a stand off for a short moment with the bear. She looked at us, looked at our frightened kids. She then slowly turned around and ushered her cubs to leave. We as well slowly walked the opposite direction.

Rogan signed a contract with Spotify. That contract states a certain amount of money has to be made. The commercials are a necessity. It's a necessity because Joe had to move to Spotify before KZbin canceled him 5 years ago.

@@mclemore100bro I have YT premium. The ads are in the video, not coming from YT.
@drobemfr6 сағат бұрын
@@mclemore100seriously why do I see so many people comment this. YT premium doesn't prevent creators from putting ads in the video. Everybody listens to the ads on this podcast, it's just that some people listen to Joe's ads and YT's while those that pay Google to not get ads from YT are still subject to ads from Joe (and other creators). He litteraly used to say "I would never put ads in the middle of the podcast, that's gross". Needs more and more $$ I guess.

Really happy that I found this interview I raced BMX for 18 years and the only reason I’m bringing this part up was to show how serious and how often I raised I was top 10 in the world in my age group for 10 years of those 18 years and needless to say I’ve had my fair share of concussions and everything Dr. Gordon is saying is actually terrifying the hell out of me and that’s not including concussions I got from playing football in school sports and even wrestling and they’re saying if you play soccer which I also played starting at the age of six there’s no telling how many of thousand times I’ve done head balls playing soccer which have actually rang my bell after after the goalie would punch the ball sometimes I would respond with a head ball to get the ball to the player in front of me faster so needless to say I am studying this interview thank you Joe and thank you Dr. Gordon for this opportunity take care and God bless

The inflammatory conditions in the brain are what end up leading to congestion, and then loss of blood flow, leading to alzheimer's, dementia, cte, etc. Reduction of fhe inflammation is key so i like what he's saying, as inflammation is linked to apmost every health condition that we need to worry about. (Not all, but most) However, what id love to hear him delve into is the use of psychedelic mushrooms with the protocol. Doing imagery of the brain with even a micro dose, you see immediate neuroplasticity. There isnt a single billion dollar pharmaceutical that can cause neuroplasticity. Not one. Yet a single dose of the "magic mushroom " immediately kickstarts neuroplasticity in every single human no matter age, condition, anything. Prior to this finding, multi billions and billions have been spent tryto do this very thing that we watch slow in every human from birth to death. The only thing rhat has done it and done it to an incredible level, is these mushrooms. They can (and yes this is a bold claim) Completely reverse these diseases, AS LONG AS there hasnt been total atrophy to the point of becoming necrotic. So, modal of the story, the earth has so many of the answers, and most of the time, we cannot go by what medical science tells us is the best action, because what ive said here is known, but you will not hear a doctor prescribe you an eighth of liberty caps and say eat .35g daily til gone then come back and see me. They'll put uou on meds dhat will maybe work modestly and then inevitably stop, or in most cases, slow the onset, and you'll watch your loved one degrade.

The only thing I hate about psychedelics is they cause vasoconstriction which can be intolerable if you have nerve pain. Nobody ever talks about this side effect. Personally I had to stop taking mushrooms because my back/spine pain was so severe on it. It’s not as bad on LSD. I’ve done psychedelics like 100s of times btw so not saying they’re bad but just pisses me off that people act like they have 0 downsides when I literally am dying of pain for 2 days after a mushroom trip.

Let me get this right. Thousands of years ago a ton of people lived in the Amazon in which it wasn't grown over yet. Settlers came supposedly gave the natives some disease killed a bunch off, then the jungle grew and over took everything. Now when people are clearing the Amazon people say save the rain forests. But wouldn't it help to explore the claimed facts regarding previous habitation if it was cleared.
