I know this song for years, I listen so many songs in these years and I'm sure I've listened this song thousands of times. But I still don’t know the lyrics by heart. This song gives me such confused feelings and thoughts, I forgot to memorize lyrics because I was thinking about those things. Every time I listen to it, I feel like I'm listening to it for the first time. I live those feelings over and over again. And I can honestly say that this is my favorite song on earth. Thank you Joesef.

So 50's mood ! Imagine you are in a American's dinner at night, sitting on a table. By the window you look at the sky full of stars, and think about the girl you've been waiting for ... . Now she opens the dinner's main door, you look at her with a smile, she's blushing and coming to you.... . Then the song starts !!
@doug72104 жыл бұрын
What would set the mood more is that it’s playing in the background quietly and as she walks in the music gets louder
@mikebazinga9824 жыл бұрын
and I would also think about how black people weren't still allowed to vote, how black people were seperated from others, widely homophobia and how young men were sent to war... but Mm ah yes, the sweet 50's American mood I guess..
@mikebazinga9824 жыл бұрын
I'm joking of course but it's kinda annoying how people would refer to the 40s or 50s as if everything was all sunshine and rainbows, lol. It doesn't apply to most people you know.
@doug72104 жыл бұрын
@@mikebazinga982 of course you’re absolutely correct. I’m just referring to it in a movie setting. But yeah every time period has it’s ups and downs and the 50s really wasn’t a great decade for the U.S

These two gentlemen are dressed unbelievably well. Both outfits are matched so that each part works complementary with another. And both have a visible theme to them, can evoke feelings in a listener. I love the aesthetically pleasing aspect of Colors Shows as much as the auditory perfection.

Lyrics : [Verse 1] I wish that I could speak to you like there is nothing wrong Wish I could go back to before I wrote this song and tell you I loved you And you would smile and you'd say "Me too" But something's changed, it's not the same and I know it was all my fault I wasn't there for you when you were falling down and I wish I was Oh, I wish I was [Chorus] But I'm a little bit broken And you're a little bit sad I wish we always had each other I wish it didn't go so bad And now the bar I'm in is closing The one we always used to pass I let them know how much I loved you 'Cause you were all I've ever had [Verse 2] I miss the way you say my name, I miss the way you walk I miss the showers we'd take and how long we'd talk through the night You'd tell me everything was gonna be all right [Chorus] Now I'm a little bit broken And you're a little bit sad I wish we always had each other I wish it didn't go so bad And now the bar I'm in is closing The one we always used to pass I let them know how much I loved you 'Cause you were all I've ever had [Post-Chorus] Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh [Chorus] Now I'm a little bit broken (Broken) And you're a little bit sad (You're a little bit sad) I wish we always had each other (I wish we always had each other) I wish it didn't go so bad (Oh) And now the bar I'm in is closing (Oh) The one we always used to pass (We used to pass) I let them know how much I loved you (Loved you) 'Cause you were all I've ever had (All I've ever had) [Post-Chorus] Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh Oh-oh

I am a huge fan of Paolo Nutini and for a long time I tought that he is one of a few male artists of a new generation who can bring real fellings in to his music, without making it in "pop love song" style, so that you are not ashamed to hear it while drinking whisky and smoking cigars ;) and here we go ! I am really happy to get to know this song of Joesef, hope there are going to be more songs made in this style.
