Hello, I have a problem with my Bose earbuds. The layer of rubber above the buttons in the right ear went off and all the buttons cushions went off as well. Any idea how to fix it? Thanks

What temp were you using. Celcius 100?Can you do a closeup of board, maybe some reverse engineering. Hoping to repair a board. Fingers crossed all the custom chips are ok and just bad joints or shorted cap or tranny or open resistor or fuse. God and my multimeter will hopefully fix it. Edit. I've found battery is near zero volts. So think I'll just need to replace battery on mine. No short on board terminals. About 15AU bucks it seems . I used 220C on my heat but tolerances are huge across different stations I guess. I used razor blade to get in a bit first then tiny flat head. Not so difficult.

I went to the repair form but in the Bose section it only list 4 over ear models to be repaired. I have the sound sport free wireless earbuds like you show in the repair video. Great tutorial but unfortunately if you have to replace the boards and the batteries it isn't worth it. If the product is out of warranty Bose will replace it at a discounted price of $99.00. If you go through the troubleshooter and none of the suggestions work, you will get the offer at the end. Also, Joe's Gaming no longer does this repair.
