Nebraska should've won but Clark's competitive fire just took over. She did everything like a girl possessed. Doesn't happen often when a team is down 8 with two minutes left and comes back to win. Only all time greats do that.
@wymple092 ай бұрын
Nebraska almost won because they shot 41% as a team from 3 point range. Never before & never again. Clark in the last parts of regulation & OT just wouldn't have it.
@survivrs2 ай бұрын
@vh448 Iowa was down even farther than that in the first half. Changing things up in the 2nd half made the difference. Nebraska played a hard game, nobody gave up or quit. Kudos to our neighbor to the west. If you have this much talent next year, everybody had better be ready for you. It was no fluke that you beat us at your home.

I'm guessing from the outcome that the players on Nebraska's bench weren't up doing a dance when this happened. That was probably in the first half, but I'll have to watch the game again to see. I'd really almost rather see her go try the NBA. She's not small, around 6'. The game is designed for pick and pop shooters now, and that's her game. She's absolutely the only female player I'd ever say that about. I'm incredibly biased against the female game vs the guys. She has a real NBA shot from deep. She has a lightning fast release. You can scheme her in. I hope she's the answer for the WNBA. I fear it'll be Candace Wiggins 2.0 with real media coverage. She's a straight white girl entering the most expensive LGBT club in the world. She might end up being more Riley Gaines than Pete Maravich.
