Kiedis doesn’t get enough respect as a vocalist. He has such a unique style and it’s clear that he has put an enormous amount of effort into practice. His ability to physically exert himself on stage while singing these songs almost flawlessly shows how seriously he takes his craft. Each member is immensely talented. To have 4 guys like this come together and get along well enough to create such a large discography of great songs…it’s hard to describe how difficult that is to pull off. A very special performance from a very special band. They have earned every ounce of their success and respect. RHCP is a truly inspiring band.

Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains The Same (live album)
@jsook6 жыл бұрын
Jp Barale seriously? There are many other LZ live albums I would recommend as great guitar work before TSRTS. That was after Page’s prime and he was just going through the motions and playing very sloppily compared to his earlier work with the band
@jpbarale45366 жыл бұрын
@@jsook I don't think so. TSRTS, in my opinion it is the very best Zep official live album. It contains Page's best solo for Stairway To Heaven. Sloppy? Listen to that three minute masterpiece and you'll know what is means to play the guitar. I strongly recommend you to listen to the entire album again so you can tell wether or not it is one of the best guitar works in music history.
@jsook6 жыл бұрын
@@jpbarale4536 Look I'm not here to hate on TSRTS, but I just listened to that Stairway to Heaven solo again, and yes I still think its incredibly sloppy. Page hits so many dead notes, and is off rhythm for many runs. He is literally just playing from memory, and although its still great, its not as clean as he usually plays. Listen to any of the live stuff before 1975ish, he literally hits every note PERFECTLY and is never even slightly off rhythm. Check out the BBC album, its remarkable. Again not hating on Page, I love him as much as the next guitarist, but TSRTS is not his best work by any means

There is no way on earth that a band should sound and be so fucking tight but they were!! John Frusciante is totally intune and intertwined with his guitars! The thing about the Chili Peppers is that somehow, these 4 tremendously gifted musicians ended up in the same band and developed such an unique dynamic that's impossible to find anywhere else. Every single one of them is incredibly good at what they do, but it's not as of they're fighting over who's the best, it's the way the energy of all of them together elevates their sound and performance and you don't really know where to look because you don't want to miss anything any of them is doing. It's actually crazy how life brought them together but i'm so grateful it happened!
