I think by the very late 70's he started to really to dig into this song. Because by the 80's there was a lot more drama and emotions when he did this song. It gives me chills, I have a version from 1977 and it gives me chills!!

If you watch the video here on Bill "Bo Jangles" Robinson doing the full step dance you will see the talen and magic that Mr. Davis sings about! Bill Robinson died pennyless. In a real way, Sammy was afraid of coming to the same end.

Yeah, I forgot all about that one. It's on a different format. I'll switch machines and put it up this weekend. BTW I'm about to put up another version of Fool right now.
