For the past six years, whenever I'm feeling low, seeing this video of little Joey teaching the complete big band team to play jazz has cheered me right up.

As an Indonesian, I feel like jazz music is alive again in my country because of Joey. It's super rare to see Indonesian players can play like Joey, he is just too awesome and he is still at the young age. 😂
@numbsain9 жыл бұрын
This is classic. When Sammy tells him to take the first solo the horn players in front are all rolling their eyes thinking, "This is gonna be pathetic." Hahah! And then the looks on their faces as he whips off chorus after chorus, each one better than the last, is just hilarious! And then it starts to sink in about half way through the out chorus, "this ten year old kid just made us look pathetic!!!" Hey, looks like you guys better practice more then. And if Joey is on an ego trip (which he certainly has a right to be) it sure doesn't show. What a guy! What a role model!
