I used to work at the Steinway factory. Joey gave a concert for the employees. I made the same comment to him, that while I enjoyed his playing immensely, I looked forward to his future growth. It is here.

The young boy Joey is still in there and I love it. And wow I can hear doors of growth opening up. He’s unlike a lot of jazz musicians who started young but made weird songs in their youth and exceptional songs as matured musicians. Big up to Joey and his band 💯💯💯

Saya kira jazz itu identik dengan musik yang rumit. Akan tetapi tetap rumit. Tapi jazz yang di bawa joey itu sangat fantastic aku yang baru tau musik ini sangat terpukau. INI ADALAH MUSIK SESUNGGUHNYA I think jazz is synonymous with complicated music. But still complicated. But the jazz that Joey brought was fantastic. When I first learned about this music, I was amazed. THIS IS REAL MUSIC
