I like how no one brought up again that not only did Cardi B admit to drugging and robbing men, but played it off as something that was funny and not, ya know, a crime. I absolutely cannot stand modern culture. The more degenerate modern culture becomes, the further back i go in time for entertainment. Definitely a wonderful message. My sweet, hard-working mom was single for much of my childhood in the 70’s, 80’s and on a music teacher’s salary. So as one of four siblings, our Christmases were very humble. In fact I rarely ever got anything I really wanted for Christmas. And yet I honestly remember Christmas always being a wonderful, joyful time. That’s because the emphasis wasn’t on money, it was on joy and happiness, little but special traditions, such as being able to pick a candy cane off the tree on Christmas Eve, a wonderful home-cooked holiday meal and deserts we didn’t normally eat, and all the things we could do to make Christmas a happy time without a focus on money and material objects. And as an adult I wouldn’t trade all the expensive toys, clothes, shoes, bikes or fleeting flashy bling in the world-that I didn’t get-for any of my cherished memories with my family, and that includes the wonderful 2022 Christmas I JUST spent with my mom and siblings all these years later. ❤️🎁🤘

About $10 more than any normal day. Reward of abandoning all the typical conventions of December 25th? Immeasurable. May your Christmas not take years off the end of your life and dash any hopes of that beach vacation or meaningful project you've been thinking about.
@kencur9690

Why is a beach vacation better than a Christmas one? I mean, can’t one just respond with a “may your beach vacation not take years off the end of your life and dash any hopes of that extravagant Christmas you’ve been thinking about.” I don’t see the relevance of cost in your comment: celebrate Christmas however you like to celebrate it. If an inexpensive night-in is your thing, then enjoy it. If you like to spend money on the holiday, then do that. Not everyone prefers the beach to Christmas... that’s why I don’t like this specific type of advice. Do what you will, just don’t do it because someone else tell you to: not because of what commercials tell you, and not because some person on social media celebrated it differently.

@@kencur9690 I wasn't really giving specific advice, the beach is just an example. But if Christmas to you is about spending money and doing what the media and advertisers tell you, go ahead if that truly makes you happy and doesn't put you in the poor house. My observation is only that people pretend to be happy at Christmastime, when in reality they are stressed, hurried, annoyed, etc. They feel obligated to be certain places with certain people for the holidays. I hope that's not the case for you.

@@chuckcassidymusic oh no, don’t get me wrong, I agree with you. But then you suggested a “beach vacation” and, well, that’s also what the media suggests you should get, so there’s not much difference. I can feel the need to gift people nice presents without the media telling me. I want to do it, because *I* want to do it, not because the media tells me to do it. That’s not to say that Christmas *is* about spending money, but rather that I don’t mind spending a little extra on Christmas, which is a subtle but significant difference. So rest assured, it’s not the case for me. Many do fall in that trap, as you say. I agree that nobody should feel obligated to do anything, which was the point I tried to convey.

My mother gave her a reality report a week or 2 ago, she and her whole family listened to a short lecture. Not what i expected when i was much younger and still hopeful that there are decent people amongst my peers, this is not the world i wanted to grow up in. I just can't be bothered talking to her. She hit a dead end, and still has a hard time realizing what's wrong with her after spending, or rather squeezing so much money from her parents on stuff, psychiatrists, poison pills, and medical procedures...her personality SUCKS, that's it, it's not mental illness, never was, you just can't live with a person who does that to herself and her parents. No matter what you do, you can't blend in with a crowd of people who were raised WRONG.

Your so right about the influences to make you think you need things when in reality our only true peace and contentment can come from Christ alone 🙏 keep doing the great work your doing. Joey, I love your commentary of the sorry state of today. I'm nearly 50, and I hate the shallow, narcissistic world that I...that we live in. I hate it all. I remember watching those Holiday Specials. My favourite music that I like to listen to during this season is Frank Sinatra. It spoke to a better time. Keep up the good work, keep pointing how sick and worthless our society has become. Keep pointing out how the talent less are venerated, while those who are creative, and have talent are condemned to obscurity.

When I was younger I wanted to live forever. Now I look around and can’t wait to get outta this demented existence. I truly miss the wholesome option. It’s just in a void now. It was nice to see Mark Wahlberg lean on religion a bit recently. It’s not my religion but it’s good spirited and he means well. That’s what matters. But I think this situation goes along with group think. Yes the advertising makes everything sexual. Sex sells. That’s fine. But it should be balanced against decency. Otherwise we are playing out Sodom and Gomorrah in real life. Couldn’t agree more with this rant J. 🍻

04:28 "swindlers, trickery, THEY CAST SPELLS...." Joey, you hit it on the head!!!! Okay people, I'll try to keep this short. This is how spell-casting works. The Holy Spirit has discipled me on this for the last 5 years; in depth. I see it every time I turn on the TV! (The same goes for music) Okay for my definition of spell-casting, I'm going to simplify it by using the example of a Las Vegas act where somebody is hypnotizing volunteers (which is a spell) Items Required: 1. A Volunteer (permission) 2. The Spell Casting Witch 3. Sigil MagiK (items/objects) 4. Feelings/Emotions 5. The Spell Words So person goes to Las Vegas and walks into a room where a hypnotist is performing his act 1. The Hypnotist ask for a Volunteer. When the volunteer agrees, that is called Universal Law where somebody grants permission for a spell to het cast. Basically, one has to surrender their free will. Some would say he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. NO, because generally a person CHOOSES to be where they are at in the moment. 2. The Volunteer approches the stage to encounter the Wizard. 3. The Hypnotist starts to swing a Pendulum Watch and says: 4. "You're getting sleepy" 5. The Hypnotist just speaks the words (aka: Casts the Spell) "When you awake you bark like a dog" 6. When the volunteer awakes, he obeys the spell command and "barks" 1. When we turn on the TV, or listen to a song, or watch the news - we have granted our Free-Will Permission to listen to them (Universal Law). If we walk into a movie theater, we grant them permission by giving them $20 and getting a ticket and a box of popcorn to have spells cast on us ;) 2. The Hypnotist in my story - represents anybody who's talking on TV in a movie or commercial, or the newscaster, or the hip-hop rapper. 3. Sigil magic items can be: Numbers - (3,6,11,13,18, 23,33,etc.) Symbols - (pyramids, the eye, etc) Objects - (Honeycombs, beehives, bees, butterflies, owls, bunny rabbits, ugly or beautiful actors) 4. Emotions - IS KEY to unlock your Soul. In my virtually Illustrated visual example of the hypnotist and the person being hypnotized, the FEELING/EMOTION that was appealed to in that story is "Sleepiness". In movies they will appeal to your: hate, to your love, to your shock, to your Terror, to your horror, to your surprise, to your bitterness, to your vengeful thinking, or to world peace or even political agendas and even BLM and LGBTQ Etc. And they don't care what side you are on. They just want you to vided so they could conquer through this Division and then provide a solution from somebody like an antichrist world leader bringing false peace. ( are you starting to get what this is all about now?) 5. The Words: in the Vegas act the words were "Bark like a dog when you awake" Inreallife the words of the spell for us are: Cryptocurrency, One World Unity, One World Government, One World Religion, One World Currency,LGBTQ. And again, they don't care what side you're on they just want you divided Sorry (a lil) for the long message. I hope this helps somebody You see there are only two kingdoms. The one on Earth that God the Father has allowed the devil to run right now as God the Father sorts the hearts of mankind out ( basically, who will receive the Father's son, Jesus who came to this earth 2023 years ago? That is the only real sorting of the hearts that has been taking place in this past six thousand years of humanity - in this speed bump of Eternity) The other Kingdom is the Kingdom above which is coming to Earth soon. It is a Kingdom that currently resides in the heart of every born-again believer and that's why Jesus said the Kingdom of God is within you. Eventually that Kingdom will come to Earth. That's what the Bible teaches. And everything that's going on around us are called the "signs of the times" and that's what the Bible teaches too. Anyway I'm not trying to preach, I just care about people. I implore you to accept Christ into your hearts. He came the first time 2020 3 years ago and He said He would come back. He's no liar. The signs are all around you. Including all the narcissists that Joey brings to us ;) ( thank you Joey, it keeps me on point as a teacher of eschatology) Lastly, I like the way that you described the "true" Christmas, Joey. Let's not forget Jesus. And as cheesy as it sounds, the Reason for the Season His Peace be with you all And for what it's worth, you don't need NO THING on your Forehead or anything in your Right Hand in order to buy something or sell something. So if you don't accept Christ and somebody tries to get you to do that - please don't do that! The Sting of death is only but for a moment; But Hell is just as Eternal as heaven. Hell is Real. Real is Fast. Thank you for your time if you got this far. His Peace be with you!
