I've been listening to lagwagon since 96 and I've seen them live more times than I have fingers, and now I really cherish the joey cape shows I've had the pleasure to experience. This album is going to be rhe highlight of my summer, and as in this song, the past year and a half has been transformative in many bad ways. so beaten down and angry, I, too, lost my wife and was forced to relocate away from my child, and once again joey finds a way to address and in a way, narrate the events in my life and illuminate these problems in poetic ways that hurt so good and, to sum it up, make it possible to keep breathing and not feel paralyzed and quite so alone. Fookin excellent song. Can't wait for the album. Counting the days!

I thought the title of this record was just about the covid and all this pandemic. And that was "The Good Year We Should Forget". Later I saw the cover of the album and said to myself maybe he burnt a cake and the kitchen during the quarantine, nobody's perfect. Al least he saved the fruit which is healthier. Then I read in an interview all that Joey had to go through during 2020, and that made me understand the lyrics of this album. The best is yet to come Joey. Maybe it's time to get retired in Cadiz, Andalusia !! It's a good plan after a 20 year nap. 🍷🇪🇦 SPAIN 🇪🇦 🍷
