I always gag during the scene when Joey talks about running from Pacey's love, lmao. Dawson's love was the one she was always running scared from, right up until the very end. She always found some petty excuse to break up with him to hide the fact that she was just afraid.

dawson & joey WERE the ultimate couple in my view, no matter what people say about her & pacey. and soulmates has always been romantic for other couples so why not DJ? so not fair

I love DJ!! The finale was a nightmare. Joey saying stuff to Pacey which was undoubtedly meant for Dawson and Pacey saying lines to Joey definately written for Dawson. Who were the writers kidding? Joey running from Pacey's love? Pacey letting her off the hook?? Gawd,anyone who's watched DC knows how ludicrous all that was! In my head they DJ ended up together!! screw the writers,they were only trying too hard to break the cliche and to please the louder fans.

*nods* what Joey felt for Dawson was too overwhelming for her, she always ran away from it,never ready for it. When did Joey ever run from Pacey? It was Pacey who dumped her at the prom in S4 and then she dumped him In S6, NOT cuz she was scared of her strong feelings for Pacey,she just couldnt stand what they were.

Dawson was stuck in the dreaded friends zone... She loved him so much it hurt, but she knew that she loved pacey's love for her. i think she didn't know how much dawson really loved her, or she would have chosen him...

The writers really messed up with that one. The whole point of the character of Joey was she never really knew what she wanted. To turn that around and have her say she did know is just wrong.

And how could people like JP? JP is a(bad)story full of low moments and fights. He treatens her bad many times.Remember the prom in S4?? He always messes up with everything. He doesn't understand her deeply.Neither she really knows him. They always break up with no pain. USELESS!STUPID! Their link is non-existent! Instead, when you watch JD it's like an explosion of sweetness and great emotions. It's a burst of cry and joy. It's a mix of "pure magic"(like Joey says in ep.4x23!!) I don't get it.
