Thanks a lot! There is only one, as stupid as it may sound like: start slowly and speed it up very very (VERY) gradually. You gotta be patient. Speed it up only when you’re very comfortable at a certain BPM and don’t add more than 5. You gotta be patient …

thanks man! very slowly, repetitions and repetitions, get it memorised, increase speed progressively, it's all about muscle memory :-)

Well, yes… but no. If by “finger exercises” you mean “all technique, no soul”, I encourage to focus how sharp, inventive and determined is Joey’s phrasing on combining beautiful and crisp language bits, even at that speed. Don’t forget he has improvised it, it took hours for me to transcribe it and days to learn it. He just “has it”. That dude is precious.
