Underscored imo compared to the other contestants. His rhythm, clarity and dynamics in his movement should put him ahead of all the other male dancers in this competition, at the very least. Yes his samba technique wasn't perfect, but samba is super hard and this dance was full of difficult content. Edit: Also shout out Jenna's incredible choreo this season. SOO good

​@@edytaparaniak-ji9sl no he didnt. He scored above all them. Not by much but theres not much variation in scores now. His scores were bang in the middle with Ilona. 4 teams scored 24, 2 scored 25 & 2 scored 27. There were a lot of 8s, but i think they were a bit hesitant to go as low as they should have. There should have been more difference between the 24s and the 25s. I havent watched the 27s but loved both the 25s. This was great. But rightfully they did score this higher than the ones you mentioned. It kind of seems like theyre wanting to leave bigger weighting to the audience

@@edytaparaniak-ji9sl honestly, i was more bothered by Danny getting a higher individual score and being tied with Chandler? if we're judging everyone on the same scale, then Danny should've been lower than Joey imo, like the quality of dancing is not comparable.

Part of judging for the show is not like 0 to 10 on like scale of 0 to 10 that you would normally think of it is 10 is like peak their capabilities stunning and like a seven and an eight is like it’s OK but like I know you can do better or there are many things that I wish you guys worked on or that you can work on and I want to see this improved upon and so when a dancer doesn’t improve on certain things that they’re looking for or it just isn’t the strongest chance they’re going to score a little bit lower because they don’t fully judge based on like comparing celeb to celeb it’s comparing the celeb to themselves. At least that’s how I’ve seen it I’ve heard pros talk about it like that

Yeah, this dance was fun, but Nyle and Peta's was so damn good and charming. They should retire this song for Disney nights (also Kiss the Girl from The Little Mermaid too). There's such depth in Disney music they don't need to be repeating songs so often, particularly when they get legendary performances
