Siggno has a very structured management team, it’s largely why the are as big as they are and can travel the country to play. But with that type of management comes expenses. Siggno goes through a lot of money before it gets down to the band. There’s very little room for raises, etc. Turner gets almost half of the earnings and the rest goes to the group as far as the actual money that is allocated to the band.

OK I know I am going to get attacked in the comments section for saying this. I honestly felt throughout the entire interview (All Videos) that Joey was just too stuck up. I get that he’s played with people that are up there but to be honest, no one gave a shit about the Kumbia Kings whenever he was playing with them, maybe in Certain parts of Mexico or Texas but that was it. Secondly who the hell still listens to vanilla ice music? most people know him by that show he’s on as a contractor, Third yeah he definitely stuck out with Siggno but he did not make them grow, they grew because of everybody’s hard work and ambition. Whatever fucking differences they may have had people are literally lining up to suck his dick and put him on a pedestal like his drumming is the only thing that made Siggno grow when it’s not. I went to go see Siggno live a couple of months ago with the new drummer and he sounds just as good as Joey. People need to stop following the bandwagon and just be real. In my opinion, people may commend Joey for the rocker look and all that shit, but honestly a lot of people that I knew that were Siggno fans actually thought that shit was too much when they started switching over to all the clothing. And yes I’ve heard the new song piérdete with Masizzo and it sounds clean and new but now Masizzo is doing the same shitt. It’s like I get it, you want to stand out but you are a Tejano Light/Mexican group! motherfuckers dressed up like they play for Metallica or something LOL whatever dude i’m a huge fan of the music anyways but I’m just stating my opinion I don’t hate nobody’s music I like both bands but I’m just telling you how I feel about it.

For the most pert, all off Sggnos money comes from touring, but being that they are a show band, there’s a ton of expenses. They travel with a bus just for the road crew. After ten years in the group, he was likely making the same money he is now as he was when he first started. And the way that group works, he wasn’t going to get paid anymore then he was already making.

He didn’t have a contract with the group, which means he wasn’t getting anything from the record deal, which would include residuals from publishing, sales from merchandise. In other words, he was just a touring drummer. I honestly don’t know what Siggno charges per show, but there’s no way it’s more then $20,000 per show. Not in that markets they tour. Siggno is a show band, I’m certain people will disagree, but their music is not great and boring. But they put on a show, and putting on a show is expensive. They travel with a bus just for the road crew. I can only speak from my experiences being on the road, but I would guess a drummer for Siggno makes about $1,000 to $1,500 a show. Which is ok, but when your on the road, personal things can also take a lot out of what you earn. I highly doubt Siggno pays a per diem, which means, you’ll likely pay for most of your own food. Credit to him for not talking about money, it’s can be uncomfortable. But a guy can only take so much when he’s working so much and not really getting anywhere financially. Siggno is Turners group, he gets 40% of everything after expenses, I would just guess. The rest goes to the other members of the band. That’s just part of the deal. Take it or leave it. I’ve been on the Siggno bus, Turner has his own room in the back and the other guys sleep on bunks. That will tell you how that group works. Speaking from experience touring can be a thing. Just the way another member eats they’re food will drive you nuts after a month on the road. But if your making enough money, you can get through it. But if your not, at some point you will say screw this.

I’m surprised Turner has just not left and did his own thing. I highly doubt it’s cause of the record deal. My guess is his personality is just not conducive to going out and just being Jesse Turner, like Aj Castillo. Siggno has a hype man for all there shows, he’s the one that sets the stage for Turner to do his thing. If he did his own thing he might make more money or he just might make the same he makes now, so it’s just likely not worth it to him. Jimenez knew his part in the band but its obvious the money he was making was just not worth the hassle anymore.

Siggno is incorporated which means they are a small business.If you have been around any of these regional bands, they count every dollar. If they were giving him extra money it's certainly a loan that they would have expected him to pay back which he didn't do. Siggno is a good paying gig cause they are a touring group. Granted Turner get's a larger percentage of the money cause it's his group. He also has his own room on the bus. When the pandemic hit Siggno applied for the PPP loan to help small business and I'm certain they got it. It's how they are able to survive and pay their bills.
