Excellent recording!!! It's incredible to see him play, to see the person who invented the foundations of Slipknot, everything seems very easy. I keep insisting that he was the soul of Slipknot.
@gabrielh471725 күн бұрын
Right that everything looks easy? He just plays so relaxed and smoothly while headbanging. But try to do even half of what he’s doing in this video and oh man. That shit is hard😂
@fabianosorio769725 күн бұрын
Exactly, it must be extremely difficult, his calmness seems easy, but it is not. Joey Jordison was the inspiration for me and many other people. The difference between seeing who invented this music versus who copies it is brutal!!

That show is AWESOME. I do also hope one day the footage gets released (anything of it in general not just Joey) But the tapes are owned by Shawn and have not seen the light of day. I’ve also heard they don’t show Joey much apart from The eyeless clip. But he does have an actual drum cam recording Joey throughout the whole show as you can see in the partially released pro-shot of Gods of Metal.

Ohhhh myyyyyy, I can't believe it 😭😭 A full video like this is actually magical, especially Eyeless. I believe there was a short clip of this released many years ago, but not the full thing as far as I know. I hope this doesn't come across as disrespectful to Joey, but these videos make me forget that he's gone. It makes me feel like he's still here, it's hard to describe but I wonder if others feel a similar way.

@@RobertT1999 Believe it because there’s more on the way!😉 And i totally get what you mean man. I sometimes do also forget Joey passed away and i still can’t believe it. I remember the day exactly and where i was when i found out. 😕 RIP JOEY
@ligadosunicornios711027 күн бұрын
I do believe that a full drum cam of that day exists. By other angles you can see someone filming, and there's another camera at joey's left side.
@gabrielh471727 күн бұрын
@@ligadosunicornios7110 There is a drum cam of Gods of metal! Also Tom recording Joey on stage as well as the other members as he moves all throughout the show. Though, sadly the tapes are owned by slipknot only.

wtf he has his hi hat pedal off pointed to the side I’ve never seen that before :0
@gabrielh471725 күн бұрын
Wow i hadn’t notice that! Hmm i wonder if it’s because of space reasons given that he has a 3rd floor tom to the left. You can see him multiple times closing the hi-hat with his hand instead of using the pedal. Great catch!
@alice__drummer25 күн бұрын
@@gabrielh4717 you might be right about the Tom, that makes the most sense, or maybe it’s related to his double pedal and having optimum space/positioning for that That’s what I initially thought
@Philipp.of.Swabia20 күн бұрын
He also seems to use super small hihats, those look like 13 maybe even 12 inches ? But with a huge bell.
@gabrielh471720 күн бұрын
He used 13’inch Hi-Hats but would swap between 14 and 13.
