As a big Beatles fan, Badfinger was a good band and it was very sad how things ended up with them; and how they got taken advantage of by Stan Polly. All is said and done they are a band that deserves a lot of appreciation for the work that they achieved and the great music they left behind for us to listen to.

Joey was a great player and a wonderful personality. Badfinger will never be forgotten and there legacy is without question cemented in rock and roll history. Sweet Tuesday is one of my favourite tunes. I would rather remember the great songs these guys wrote and performed, rather than regret what might have been. Some of the songs that they wrote were extraordinary. Keep plucking the G string Joey and be proud of your contribution!!🙏❤️🎼😂.x

I have been enjoying Bad Finger’s song “No Matter What” and just started exploring about them, I’m fascinated - I was looking at many photos of the band members and Joey stood out to me, very good looking and a nice member, I’m glad he’s still here to tell us stories about the band and the passed members. Keep going strong Joey, your new fan from Australia ❤️

Joey is a great dude but, I question his integrity when he was quarrelling with Tommy in the early 80's over the "Badfinger" name and who has rights to it, I feel that is what broke Tommy and sent him over the edge.

i bought there songs with pocket money as a kid still chokes me up to this day there passing was so sad they had everything and if they had just got through those horrible times they would have lived to see the results, easily said than done when you feel low and i know how that feels you can see the modesty in peter ham eyes when he sings as for joey molland a very humble man such good song writing moves you emotionally ive never seen joey live but hopefully i will soon still does a great job hitting those notes vocally what can i say that hasn't been said about badfinger superb band all the best

Molland is correct! Badfingers hit songs are still played on FM Classic Rock stations worldwide because they are great songs. I wonder who is collecting the Royalties for their hit songs today? The family’s of Pete, Tom and Mike should be getting the Royalties. Pete Ham killed himself because he couldn’t support his family because the damn manager stole all their money and ran away. His family should be compensated finally. I’m glad Molland is still going and playing live. 👏🏻🎸😎

@@noelharris5488 Good, BF was ripped off for years by their manager who ran away with the Royalties. They were even cash poor after a successful Tour of America with a couple of hit singles on FM Radio being played constantly. Tom Evans hanged himself because he couldn’t support his wife and kids. It’s about time the families get paid finally. I’m happy to hear it. Too late for poor Tom. 💐RIP

Badfinger boogie was called that because Lennon had a piano bit for Little Help from my friends, was a boogie style at the time, but Lennon had a sore finger, so because John played the boogie a little different way, Lennon called it his Bad Finger boogie. So when they were all in the studio trying to think of a band name, I think Neil Aspinal or Mal Evans chose Bad finger, put two words together and BOOM you have BADFINGER.

Is it me, or does he actually seem ‘younger and healthier’ in the interview. There was a period when he seemed to be in really bad shape, health wise. Anyway, he and the band DESERVED to be much more famous and acclaimed then they are. They got such a raw deal! But, I hope Joey is comfortable and feeling good. Gotta pick up his latest album.

Oh, hell yes. BADFINGER WAS A KILLER ROCK 'N' ROLL BAND. Rock Of All Ages, Blind Owl, In The Meantime. I Got You (Joey & Tom). Come Down Hard (Joey & Tom). Lots of people say that the Beatles should’ve been playing songs and writing songs similar to what Badfinger was doing. And of course when it came to the love songs the Bee Gees at that time late 60s were doing some love songs that were very much like where the Beatles would’ve gone if they continue doing love songs. They really should have because they were great at it with the harmonies at all. And the Beatles put some pretty cool chords and those love songs. Yeah I’ll get back and Maxwell‘s Silver Hammer and I want you she’s so heavy, just go through Abbey Road and go through let it be and you won’t find any real beautiful love songs they are like the Beatles used to do. Look at everything they did up till 1967 they had a lot of beautiful love songs. They also had some pretty cool intricate rock ‘n’ roll songs like for example drive my car, and your bird can sing, and Day tripper. These were constructed pretty well with some parts that the guitar parts that they really put together and we’re right in the groove of the beat.
