Just for the record, they’re talking about words that have an origin/usage in queer communities. NOT “words every queer knows by heart.” There is a difference. So just because you’re gay and you didn’t know some of them doesn’t mean they picked bad words, it just means there are queer-origined words you don’t know.

I am a very straight edge, no drugs, no alcohol kind of girl. So i always assumed the song "Rush" was about energy drinks and drinking them to keep going at clubs. So finding out that it's about drugs, VCR cleaners at that, was baffling. No worries, these are just terms that are popular among the LGBT+ community. You don’t have to be queer to get these words, but you would need to be up-to-date on a lot of queer culture, which many queer people aren’t.
