The only improvements I think the bedrock engine really needs is...1: Adjusting the graphics to Xbox One standards 2: Making access for all console players to connect to any and/or every Pocket Edition server 3: Adjust flying on creative to Xbox One standards, and 4: Create an upload option to share worlds for people to download(This is not a very hard option to add at all).

I still prefer the old version. It was the Xbox Edition - a special version for Xbox players. I feel like there are still a few bugs and all of the points from the PC that I was thinking of when I was first told about the new version being like PC were just not there. It doesn’t really compare to the Xbox 360 or PS4 version, it may get improved in the future with more of the PC features and bug fixes so I still have a bit of hope for the new Minecraft version. Im hoping that it will be as though they made a whole new game and as the game gets older and gets more updates, the game will get better just like the Xbox Edition was at the very beginning. Sorry for the long opinion.

I think the problem was that the e3 2017 event and 4j studios website announced that the better together update was coming "this summer" meaning it had to happen before fall began. If this didn't happen then the fans would call them out for lying and thus, in order to keep the majority of their players from leaving, it had to be released beforehand. If they would have announced "coming this fall" or "this Christmas" then the fans would have no reason to complain that isn't out yet because they know it won't be out until then and the developers would have time to finish this version.

Personally, the better together update isn't that bad, there are pros and cons. I personally don't hate it it's just mediocre compared to the original console. But the better together update might update in itself. It's still only been recently released. It's early days and it has a lot of potential. Loved the video Stampy!

problem is, minecraft isn't in it's early days anymore, nor is the new version still in early days. to me, when a game has been released in the general public without a beta stamp it means it's supposed to be ready. I would give a game a pass if the only problem is lesser content, as games do have deadlines to meet, but if the bugs are really prominent and the community (especially an established community like the pokemon games or the elder scrolls series) notices it and really dislike it, sales will go south, stereotypes will be made and people are going to complain. Of course I see your logic as sure it's going to be better but with the way things were run to produced the new version for all the consoles, there just wasn't enough care put into it and it may not recover from it. It also removed a cool unique feature from the consoles. Every version of minecraft had their own game mechanics and bugs that could be exploited, removing one version is like tearing a unique part of minecraft away from itself. I've also seens servers being played with people on multiple versions of minecraft java (Some are on newer versions than others) so I do not understand why they would need bedrock engine to be the go to engine, or why couldn't they have a version that was only cross compatible in the consoles (as I'm sure there are PS and Xbox players willing to duel their consoles to death). They were reaching high on this one, and really fell short. That, is the real problem

Tommy DoeZ!!! thing is...bedrock's enginge can run smoother then java and is easier to work with. I would say in many ways bedrock is better then old console minecraft.

Tem PlaYZ!!! I'm just at the point where I don't play nor care about Minecraft, and even if I do get into a minor Minecraft kick his videos are just not what I'm looking for anymore. He's currently what I call a loyalty subscription- I used to love his videos, and I still respect him for his content, but I don't watch him anymore.

REALLY Interesting to see you talk about some of the problems I experienced on P.E! I had the torch problem (now fixed) and the chunk problem stuck on 6 (i still can only choose between 4, 5 or 6) and I love seeing you touch on them! I agree it wasn't ready, for such a big franchise, the games need to be right before they're released. - Sunny

I used to play the pe version of minecraft on my IOS and it was great. Now we are stuck to only 6 render distance and the game crashes so much. I think that they need to import the console edition to the pe version instead of the pocket edition replacing the console version.

The pocket edition does not replace console edition. There is so longer such thing as pocket edition because bedrock edition replaced pocket edition just like how it replaced console edition.

Great vid man. I can live with a few bugs, we had some big ones on the console edition too, like all nether portals connecting to the same one. With no elytra on me, I was stuck at my ocean monument for a few days :-) There's always been bugs that shouldn't have passed the beta test, but this is way too much. It's an insult to paying customers. But the one thing that really keeps me from playing the bedrock edition is the crafting menu. They really have to make a console/pc version of that cos I don't think I'll ever play with that.

It's not fair to replace the old console version with this version that has so many issues so early on. They should've waited until the standards were much higher to stop updating the old console Minecraft. There's always some form of lag on single player, animal and player movements in particular just aren't smooth in my opinion.

Hi Stampy! I have an awesome suggestion for an epic video, You start building something but HTT releases a huge attack and you can't fight it on your own. So you have no choice but to invite back all of your old helpers (Some of them may not play anymore, but they can always be acted by someone else or just play as a noob). I believe that 16 people can play on a world (I think... lol) So it would be so cool to see Squid, Squashey, Amylee, Longbow, Finball, Ank, Lunar Friends and All the others I didn't mention. Hope you see this

Dear Stampy, My game is currently broken. I’m not sure why but when I try to load my map (that I haven’t even played yet!) it takes way too long. Thank you for making this video because you have a voice and you are trying to use it. I agree that joint Minecraft wasn’t and still isn’t ready. It’s ridiculous that you have to make an Xbox account just to join a server (I have now given in, and have lost my old gamer tag). How many kids have an email? The featured servers is ok but really, Lifeboat? Nobody plays that corrupted server. They should have added BrokenLens, since you don’t need to buy to play, and I feel they deserve it since their servers have quietened down lately. So... I think it came down to a Pokémon Go kind of decision: release the game too early, resulting in crashes, bugs etc.

hello Stampy, I've been a fan since around your 50th - 100th episode of Minecraft. I've watched your lets talk videos and I think they help me a lot, although I have experienced some subjects of your lets talks, I was thinking if you can do an episode on how to deal/cope with depression. It’s up to your opinion. Do you like all of the exclusives on PS4? Then get that. Do you like Nintendo first party games like Zelda and Mario? Get the Switch. Do you like trashy performance and bad interface? Get the Xbox. If you really want the ultimate gaming experience, save your money and buy a laptop or PC with decent performance. Make sure it has a graphics card, and not one of those Intel Integrated Graphics chips. Really, it’s up to what games you want to play. If you are old enough, though, I’d say get a laptop for high school/college/work.

What do you think about the 3ds version of minecraft? Right now its like a really old version of Minecraft lol, in the dark its pitch black literally, you cant see a thing which sucks cause im already scared to explore caves. Also the end portal is not really in yet, do the game is technically unbeatable right now xD also in creative I went in the nether and its impossible to see anything its so foggy

I play Minecraft P.E (plz don’t hate me) and I actually thought that better together was going to be to zombie apocalypse but I didn’t find it that bad, sure it’s a bit buggy but I was expecting that. But I can see how it would effect the console, p.c and other additions of Minecraft.

I play 360 much more than the better together. I think in 1 year I will still prefer the console editions. I think in 2 hopefully I will prefer bedrock.

Sorry stampy, I’m saying sorry because well umm... you need lots of help on minecraft console edition. You have to go to the end tons of times and die by enderman, you have good prep but take your time. Learn combat, reflexes. But your good. Happy Halloween!
