Congrats Stamps! I can tell that you are really into writing this book! Can’t wait to see the finished product! As a person who isn’t the best at writing, writing an actual book is huge! And I loved it when you said that you didn’t plan for a character to suddenly leave😂 Anyways, I think this series is a great idea, so when the book is all said and done, you can go back and watch these videos! Wishing you the best with your book!

Stamps, I just wanted to say thank you. Since I was 8, I haven't stopped watching you. I am now nearly 12 and most people in my classes are saying about how mine craft is boring and it is bad and stuff like that. i don't think it is and you have inspired me to be who i want to be and to play/ do what i want. I started watching you when you were on 6 million subs. I was one of them. during tough times you have made me laugh(i find it hard to laugh)I live in the England and have just started secondary. i was nervous but you helped me be calm and be myself. Once again thanks Stampy. Edit: i'm excited for your book. definitely getting it once it comes out. :)

Hey Stampy! I just wanted to thank you so much for making this series, I’ve been planning to make a comic series but I wanted all the characters to have a backstory for the people who keep up with the series (and also because I love creating characters that the person relate or feel emotion for, I know majority of people wouldn’t keep up to find out everything but I want to do it for myself) but I’m writing the storyline ahead so I can have each comic based on relatable or inspiring and sometimes just funny topics and hearing your story about how you’re creating your book series has really helped me develop it better, example when you explained last episode about questioning about what your characters would do in crazy random scenarios they wouldn’t normally get into was something I hadn’t considered thinking about so thank you for helping me open my mind to that! Also like you said this episode having the characters almost write themselves might be something I need to consider too. It’s been really fun to see how your book is coming along and the things you’ve had to take into account and learn and all the depth that goes into it too, you’re doing an amazing job so far! I’m super excited to read the book when it’s finished and looking forward to more episodes on the series! Keep up the great work! :)

Hi Stamps, I’m 11 almost 12 and I’ve loved writing stories ever since I was 6. I’m actually writing one right now, and you’ve really inspired me, because you’re always talking about your book, and it’s helping me to not give up on mine. I’ve started over 50 stories that I haven’t finished, but I have a great feeling that I’m gonna finish this one. I know you’re an amazing author/writer and I absolutely can’t wait for your book to come out. Good luck on finishing your book!🧡

I Am In The Same Boat As You. I've Been Writing Stories Since I Was Six. I Wrote A Series Of Six Stories As A Child. They Were A Bit Rubbish But Since Then I've Started Stories But Never Finished Them. I Just Started A New One Which I AM Going To Finish And It's Gonna Get Huge. Like 80 Pages. I'm Glad To See Others That Have The Same Passions As Me.

Hey Stampy! Long time watcher here! Turning 16 this Thursday actually. I love the premise of you’re book, and as a lover of creative writing the fact that you went back to college to improve your skill is admirable :) What age range is your book based at? Is it focused on Minecraft? (No issues if it it ) Honestly best of luck to the writing of the rest of the book!

Hey. I thinking it will be 9+ for age range. It won't be related to Minecraft. I will reveal more details about the world it is set in closer to release.

Welcome to the club where characters do the unexpected! I remember the first time that happened to me. It's so weirdly shocking, but also very cool. There is nothing pretentious about it, Stampy -- it's hard to explain to people who haven't experienced it. I think that's how the idea of Muses must have come up; it happens in writing, art, music, etc. Not just inspiration, but unexplainable forces sometimes "taking control." How exciting!!! Thank you for sharing. ❤❤❤

I think that's so cool that you're going back to school!! My mom went back to school a while ago, but it just seems so cool that you're going back and to see how invested you are in the book. I've thought about doing creative writing but I've never thought I'm that great, and these videos and your book is really inspiring me to do what I love to do. I absolutely love these book diaries. Thanks Stampy!!

This series was uploaded so long ago but I've only recently decided to watch it and I find it so motivating. As a player of d&d, I completely understand a character doing something I didn't plan or want them to do. I have had to stop playing some of my favorite characters because I stayed in character despite knowing how easily I could choose to make them do something out of character to save them.

Man, I am excited for the book. Similar to someone who had recently commented, I am making a comic. I am using Comipo, a software that allows people to make comics from a computer. I have created five characters and they are not your typical average people (except for maybe one). Anyway, I have gotten stuck, I don't know how to move the story along. I have been using the opportunity to flesh out the characters and give them a backstory and hey, maybe I'll think about the trivial things like their birthdays, favorite food, favorite colors; etc. I want to bring my characters to life! It is a Slice-of-Life story in case you were wondering.

This is really interesting for me because I am currently writing my first novel and i am coming across a lot of the things you mention like “oh wait this character would never say this” Like I had seven important quotes that I had planned out but I only decided to include three of them. Just little things are some major things that change while writing 😊

Hi stamps it's cool watching these because I want to be a author one day but the part where you say where a character leaves and you said it's like the book writes itself. Because sometimes you get so caught up in writing you forget you have to get to a goal. Like in school I had to write a short story like two three pages I'm now on my nineth

When you're writing some things don't always go to plan, if you need to make a major change then go for it. Often when you're writing things you realize that the story might not work as well as you thought in your head. Even if you have to change your "big plan" you need to do what is necessary for the story to work. (Side Note: Why would you go BACK to school?! ARE YOU A MANIAC?!")
